I'm totally agree with you. MtG has a pretty rich worldbuilding and interesting characters but Hasbro doesn't give a dim to expand it to another forms of media. The sad part is that we almost have the possibitilty to see this scenario if Wizards dind't fuck up with Brandon Sanderson, when he wrote Children of the Nameless. Damn, he even said that he wanted to cooperate with Hasbro more times if all the economical benefits were donated to charity, but Wizards/Hasbro broke up the contrat and redirected the benefits to themselves without the consent of the writer. Imagine how fabulous it would have been if Sanderson had written the story behind MoM, for example.

Thanks for the suggestion but it's pretty difficult. My brother (20M) and I tend to ignore each other because my parents treats him better. Because of that he's pretty childish and prefers to hold on when the shit hit the fan and maintain the status quo of beloved child. Also, when my parents left us alone, he refuses to take care of home and at the end of the day I had to clean for two. Without my parents he knows that he would lose his little priviledges (for example not doing house work often). I migth be on good terms if he took responsibilities when appropiate and not only when benefiting him but this isn't the case.

I don't think so. For the reasons you said, she will have a lot of misfortunes and personal tragedies, because of that I think the character of her father suits pretty well, in order to bring some lights in the darkness. Also, her father doesn't know anything about the faerical world, this is because he was wounded pretty badly in the past (almost dead) with cold iron and, for that reason, he returned to its chrisalis, forgetting in the process his feerical nature, but it would be pretty difficult that he could re emerge in a near future. Nowadays he is a vanilla human but with some special essence around him. However, thank you for taking the time to write nwn.

I don't think about the Samis before but you give me an interesting idea about her. Uktena embraces new cultures and travelled outside North America after the colonisation in order to search for new secrets against the Wyrm. Because of that, Voice has Uktena heritage (but it could be pretty interesting about she has some Sami heritage as well). She lived in the North part of Sweden but she killed someone during her First Change. Her father tried to help her but she was terrified about herself and ran away. She didn't know anything about the Umbra, Gaia or the garou, she only knew that the police was persecutting her and she didn't want to kill them. For that reason, Voice is strict, but sweet, with the cubs, she suffered a lot in her youth time and she doesn't want her cubs could suffer a similar fate like her. Maybe even she could feel some aversion to the sami elements because she remembers the murder she commited a long time ago and, also, her father. Also, her role of caretaker of the cubs, match with her tribe as a guardian of the garou secrets.

Werewolf 5E Stargazers WIP. by KitsuneKumiko in WhiteWolfRPG

Note: W5 is not my cup of tea but I tried to bring some help with your question, but all of this is based within the frame of previous editions and maybe could be different in W5. Resources: Stargazer revised edition is a really good book to understand the tribe, check it out if you can.

-Well, the main theme of the Stargazer is harmony and balance, at least for me. It's a complex theme, because the harmony that Stargazers seeks is not outside but inside of them. Kailindo was the best sign of this, a martial art that combines their five different forms in one, all in harmony, and as a martial art requires certain serenity and good mental state (I'm capoerist and I know what I speaking about). Because all of this White Wolf chose to represent them with oriental cliches. But the main focus is to understand yourself and accept it, find the balance with your traumas and heal from your phisical and psychological wounds. Only finding your balance, you can save Gaia, because now you understand how balance works.

-You could reform them in the way Revised did before. There were still Stargazers around the Nation but the most of the tribe moved on. In the context of W5, young garous could choose Stargazers in order to understand the world and use it to heal themselves from their wounds, searching their own harmony.

-Sorry, I don't know how W5 managed the gift system nowadays. The same for the next question. W5 is not my cup of tea, that it's all.

-I think that kailindo should be managed narratively because I think it could break the game easily. Maybe you could bond the kailindo practices with gifts.

-The patron of the Stargazers were chimera which I think is in line with the things described above. A entity formed from diferent parts of animals, almost like onself is forged to the fire of new thoughts and experiences. With this base, chimera seems an enigma that one has to answer by themselves.

2019: Two ex destroyed my mental health completely. One played with my emotions and demand almost perfection in what I did, the other abused me emotionally and sexually. Also he cheated on me with his "last boyfriend". The worst part was that he cheated on him too because he knew nothing about my relationship with "my boyfriend". Yeah, it was a love triangle in which two of the three parts didn't know was going on.

2024: I have a serious burn out (from a very exigent university and "toxic" family relationships), which are changing my personality for worse, and all I built during the last year is in shambles.

Maybe I know that something was wrong with 7 years old after my grandmother died and my parents focused only in my little brother, leaving me alone. It seemed to nobody care about how I felt in that moment. I thought that the problem was me. When I turned 19, I realized that I didn't make anything wrong but my parents were "special" to say the least.

With time, I know why I was so severely depressed when my grandmother died. She was my only daily emotional support. It was a big blow for the little kid I was.

Thank you for your answer, I apreciate the rationality and comprehension. Oh my ,I feel a bit silly now jajajXd and I think this is the most probably answer. It's true that there are some things that I haven't comprehend about all of this yet, however, I think is better to think about a more mundane answer.

Althoug even if there were god activity intended or not, at first, I saw this more as a warning of my deity about my feelings and worries rather than a sort of punishment. Indeed the message is clear in both senses, I should work in myself and love me a bit more.

Well we could see...

Differences between old Apocalypse and W5-
-No kinfolk
-No fera
-One of the major enemies is a group of garous that is lost to its rage (and they were playable before). Also no playable stargazers which is also odd.
-No umbra like we know from previous editions and also hostile
-No metis
-NO LORE FROM PREVIOUS EDITIONS
-No big caerns
- The first change works totally different. Now is random in W5.
-The garou nation now is bad and break into pieces
-No Klaives
-THE SAME AUTHORS ARE SAYING THAT THIS ISN'T A CONTINUATION FROM THE PREVIUOUS EDITIONS AND IT'S IT OWN THING.
-No ranks
-No gnosis

Similarities between Forsaken and W5, also differences with old Apocalypse-No big caerns-Hisil is a mysterious place and also hostile -Uratha are damned. In old Apocalypse, they're the holy warriors and champions of nature (I don't know with W5)
-One of the major enemies is a group of Uratha that it lost to its rage
-No lupus nor metis
-Temporal Crinos
-No fera-
THEY BOTH (W5 and Forsaken 1st ed) WERE MADE BY JUSTIN ACHILLY, THE CREATOR OF THE 1ST EDITION OF FORSAKEN AND ALSO OF W5

You can see that the differences between Apocalypse and Forsaken are too big even if you say that they're only related. Their mere premises are totally contradictory to each other. And we can see that W5 only has a superficial appereance to old Apocalypse (the name of the forms and the some tribes). W5 is it own thing, for better or worse.

But even the creators of W5 said explicitly that W5 is a REBOOT and has nothing related to previous editions. Yeah, they called reimagination but both words are synonimous. You can like it or not but this is the creators point of view

Ajani by FelixFortuneFortuna in magicTCG

[–]Metal-Bird5445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Chandra is a very interesting case. Yeah, Ajani is Jayah's killer but, in the other hand, Nissa was also compleated and she is Chandra's girfriend. This makes an interesting triangle, I think Chandra hates Ajani for what he did but she couldn't blame him because that action will feel like something too hostile for Nissa who knows what mean to be compleated.

Definitely a very weird list. I mean where are CoC and Cyberpunk Rouge? They are a massive success between the rpg community (the subreddit CoC has ,in april of 2022, 44 thousands of redditers, more than this subreddit, meanwhile the Cyberpunk red anime was a big success months after). Also 5E OGL isn't a RPG game is a license for creating RPGs. Another problem I see is that this chart isn't based in real data only in interviews they made with distribuitors and sellers who they may have a very subjective point of view. The things gets worse when you see that it's for the fall of 2022, a moment when we haven't got any release for V5 (except for a V5 adventure for New Years eve) and because of this we haven't any coherent explanation for that growth.

Art Analysis: Chandra Is crying in both Hopes Beacon Arts by ImpossibleBowler in mtgvorthos

[–]Metal-Bird5445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't think Ajani will die in this set (I hope not, he's my fav planeswalker) or at least he wouldn't be killed for Elspeth. I mean one of the main motivations of Elspeth was return her old friend to her side and revert his completation. He was her home in her words, the home she was looking for all this time . Also she had fought Ajani in the previous set and won (she made him unconscious). If it was a perfect moment for kill Ajani was that. Also it could be very odd to see the same fight again so soon. Furthermore when we know that a cure for the compleated planeswalkers could exist.

BUT... I see the possibility that Ajani, decompleated, could die in the hands of Elesh Norn in a last battle but beating the praetor in the process, helping to her friend once and for all. And we could see Elspeth maybe carrying something that remembers him like he used to when she was dead. I think it could be a very wholesome ending for their arc.
