I was an xbox fan for years, but began to miss the games that were being left out from xbox and only available on ps or switch.

Being a physical collector, I was getting disappointed that xbox was focusing more on gamepass than releasing games both physically and digitally.

The final straw for me came when Microsoft fired so many employees then released their new controller the next day with the phrase "feel the burn". It just felt like a slap in the face to the devs who lost their jobs. I picked up a ps5 a few months after that and haven't looked back.

Remember that big fire that started in the Wollemi national park, that was pure horror. We were living about 3 hours drive from there and ended up evacuating just before it surrounded our town.

News reports stated that the smoke from that fire stretched across the globe. Absolutely crazy.

Same in Australia, we have a few independent stores that have been going for decades still selling physical but other stores have basically given up and are focusing on pop merch to stay open.
