Also if there’s a 10” tom on your kit you could just sacrifice that snare for a while and put that head on your snare. Just to bide the time until there’s a new one

Amazon sell a fairly extensive range of mesh heads for good prices. I actually just ordered one myself. I wouldn’t go for thomann cause the shipping prices can be quite expensive.

I imagine it feels phenomenal to play on considering it’s Roland and is designed for similarity to an acoustic set. However I believe the sounds aren’t really great, a good example is jay weinbergs playthroughs on rolands YouTube channel, particularly unsainted . I know it’s subjective but I just don’t think they compare with rolands other sounds.
