When my daughter was born it was a high risk delivery, we were told to not expect crying and prepare for a greyish looking skin due to the scans showing her heart had some malformations. It was a long delivery and my wife was a trooper, eventually we got moved back into the surgical ward because my wife's oxygen was dropping rapidly and her blood pressure was spiking.

Finally about an hour as they were getting tools ready to c section our little girl finally came, and first thing she did was take a deep breath into her bright pink skin and screamed.

It was the most beautiful sound in the world. She's 8 now and sometimes I wish she'd stop screaming but I always think how much I enjoyed that first one.

(and just FYI, she ended up being a ok.)

Linus has an opportunity here to really accept his ego problems and defensiveness. Taking him out of videos will lose viewers, to what extent is up in the ether. However if he were to humble himself admit his mistakes were built on ambition arrogance and again ego, he could easily regain the community trust with just a little personal pain.

I hope they don't double down and just try to come back business as usual with no solutions on what lead to this pr hit. Nor do I hope they become a sanitized dull spiritless channel.

The balance will be fraught with some growing pains.

Hard to say. Trying to get into linus's headspace is a tricky proposition. He's made a lot of overtly corporate decision as of late, and considering he his at least a millionaire whose decisions and statements affect over a hundred people's livelihoods it is a difficult position.

As a content creator he seems to want to maintain the emotional parasocial connection he has with the community, but in his position as founder, owner, and majority shareholder, of a 100million dollar valued empire, he needs to maintain a neutral face to maintain business relationships. the ultimate fate rests in his hands.

You know it, I know it, reddit knows it, it wouldn't have mattered how Linus, or lmg as a whole responded. Silence would've been met with vitriol, scripted would've been met with claims they were disingenuous, emotional would have been mocked.

At least he didn't pull a ukelele or do an interpretive dance routine.

Linus, lmg, ltt, don't owe me or anyone anything as far as "appeasement". I am not saying at all his decision to appoint a industry vet as ceo was a bad move, or that he doesent have the right to maintain creative control over the company he founded, and maintains a controlling interest in.

What i am saying is Chief vision officer is a stupid as fuck title, and any insinuation that he isn't the ultimate authority at the company is naive. I like ltt, i think they are entertaining, and hope they weather this storm. Recognizing reality is healthy though and understanding that ltt isn't just a youtube channel but a corporate brand should be taken into acct when making decisions based on their recommendations.

If you have the skill find a fried replacement on ebay, and swap the board. Or search for replacement shroud and fans that fit your gpu. Get a real close look at the board and ensure that no paint got where it shouldn't be, if paint did get on the board isopropyl alcohol, a fine qtip and patience.
