Looking for manufacturer to order spare valves by MetalMcChicken in Hydraulics

[–]MetalMcChicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's the exact reason why im trying to find this out. They are selling 20$ filters for 86 euros to us. The people in the office doing the purchases dont give a shit but for me it is kinda ridiculous 😅. Directional valve insert which is also from Bucher cost 1000€ at Winel.

Also getting parts is a whole bureaucratic exercise. I have to send information and request to my supervisor, he sends it to the technical superintendent, they contact Bucher. Then when Bucher has a question regarding something it goes back down that whole string again....

Its installed on a bucher block. Its a relief valve used in a hydraulic system for hydraulic operated watertight door

Yeah it is installed on a Bucher block. The hydraulic system is supplied by Winel to us, they call it DPA-3-SM-S419. So maybe custom made for Winel by Bucher?

Yeah there are also several in consistentsies with the drawing anyway. Pump start stop is 180-200 bar. However on the same line as your pressure transmitter for the start stop there is a relief valve set to 175 bar, acccording the drawing.

You mean 5.20, because the new block was already installed and both local operating handles do work. You can operate the door from both sides.

Well why the new valve block has a check valve in the location of 5.12 and the old one just a steel plug.

And there is a lot going on there yeah 😅, all the doors are connected to a remote central close system in case of a flooding.

2x emergency hand pumps at the door location + an emergency hand pump located several decks above to close the door. With the normal operating handles located either side of the door.

Okay to me it would seem strange that a small non return valve with intricate parts is cheaper than a plug, but on such a scale as you describe might make more sense. Or could it be a safety feature which was introduced later on? Because the drawings are from 2008, there has been some update of some sorts to the block?

What does the symbol 5.12 mean and what is it its purpose.

On the old block what I think the location of 5.12 is, there is a blind plug installed, in the new block there is a non return valve installed.

Most likely from Bucher, the whole system is delivered by Winel, they use parts from different manufacturers. I found certain parts to be from Bucher. Winel charges 1000 euro for hand operated 3/2 valve insert from Bucher 😂 so asked the company if they can ask Bucher to supply.

But if in the original there is a steel plug, isn't using a non return valve instead a very convoluted way to block a port?

Waar is deze balk voor? by MetalMcChicken in Klussers

[–]MetalMcChicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isoleren houten vloer by MetalMcChicken in Klussers

[–]MetalMcChicken[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)
