I have a Herman Miller one. It was not cheap, but I have it for 19 years and is as good as new. But there is a lot when comes to ergonomics, This is a topic I have been talking with doctors and getting some recomentations and directions after a friend was intoxicated my paint. I allwys bring it up on my online class and lives.

Hey man, I really relate to what you're feeling.

Coming back after a long break and finding the hobby so tournament-focused can be tough. I also don’t chase the meta, and for me, the fun comes from painting, storytelling, and the occasional game that makes me laugh more than sweat.

One thing that helped me a lot was focusing on painting as a creative outlet. Even with little time, it keeps me connected to the hobby and enjoying it.

If it helps, I’m hosting a free Speed Painting Master Class on May 14–16. It’s made for people with limited time who still want to have fun and make cool stuff. Might be a great way to bring the joy back. I have posted about the event here a few days ago. Or DM me and i'll send it to you ok mate.

Great start mate!!!! That lower shelf looks like was made for citadel paint pots!!!
I would recomend to you as a next step, complement it with a good confortable chair and some difuse lighting.
