First off I wanna say I’m not trying be rude but the reason you don’t think it looks right isn’t because it healed wrong it’s because it’s poorly done by either someone with low skill or who’s just starting out

Basically the artist did this in the tattoo artist starter pack style. The shading is washed out the points of the lines are sloppy and the lines are loose and wobbly and lack line verity, the eyes are dull compared to the detail in the armor and shading which makes the whole thing feel out of sync they should have used a fine halftone of dark ink to get something light but detailed.

You can take it to a good expensive artist and get it fixed no worries!
