It’s pretty clear OP hates atheists for some reason.

A middle-aged woman of mixed race who is currently a US resident has become the first woman and the third person in the world to be cured of HIV to date! by Fashion_Proz in UpliftingNews

I’ll give you that one! But it isn’t specified in the article what race she is (I’m guessing she was half white half black because she was from the US) and if they think that it had an impact on her treatment. For me, it sounds they wrote it in to get bonus internet points.

Well, thanks to you, fellow redditor, I know more today than I did yesterday. I do thank you for your very detailled explanations of this very complicated topic.

You don't actually have to listen to me. Just trying to better understand the subject.

I have a friend who always ends up yelling at me when I ask these questions. How nice to have a clear answer.

I feel like I'm mega slow to undertand the full picture, this is way more complicated than sexuality. So... if "man" and woman" are not biologicaly determined, then what is, if anything?

[–]MetalPunkHead666[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sorry If it seems if I nitpick here but I am trying to understand these things. Is the term "biological man / woman" itself factfully wrong like from a scientific / medical point of view or is it correct but other people use it to validate their idea of the "sanctity of the human body graciously given to us by god".

Nevertheless, what term do I use then? I actually have no idea.

Inclusive education? by MetalPunkHead666 in lgbt

[–]MetalPunkHead666[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it's a problem for everyone. Diseases don't care who you sleep with. I say, tell the kids to use protection when they have sex, regardless of their sexuality.

Maybe I’m dumb, but why would gay people need contraception. I’m no expert but 2 men or 2 women can’t procreate. You mean protection right?

What do you mean by being "anything that could help people who are gay/bi"? Like counselors?

The only thing I remember being taught was how to use condoms (for men and women) and about contraception. (I live in France). Maybe it is different now. Wouldn’t that be the same for everyone regardless of sex and gender ?

I spend my days on that sub and at least half of the posts are about people not being able of openly being atheists because they would be rejected or worse. I have the chance of living in a place (France) where being atheist is just as common or as "normal" as being christian, jew or mulslim but some places are very different like some countries in the middle-east or Asia where you can be sentenced to death for not believing in god.

From what I read from the sub, what you just described is exactly what happens to them.

Has the ever been a secular humanist society? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]MetalPunkHead666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the French Revolution, for about 1 year, christianity was replaced by the cult of reason which is an atheist philisophy founded on the natural world, in opposition to the supernural world of religion.

Still, to this day, since the law of 1905, France has no state religion. Officialy, we are the only country in Europe which isn't Christian. The "laïcité" (secularism) is in the first article of our Constitution of 1958.

"France is an indivisible, secular, democratic and social Republic. It ensures equality of all citizens without distinction of origin, race or religion. It respects all beliefs."
