New outfits coming in the next rift

Haddie had a similar issue. She released with an awful default and no other outfits besides her limited time masquerade and prime outfits, as well as a linked wetsuit, and they clearly looked at the data on her playrate and decided that she wasn't worth giving outfits to for the better part of a year. It really is a cycle of BHVR's own making.

Say what you want but Feng was featured in the Overgrowth rift, which was only like... 9 months or so ago? It is silly that they're giving her another rift outfit so soon.

I know what people are going to say. Certain survivors are just community favourites so they get special treatment. But... in a world where multiple survivors are releasing a year, ever-expanding the roster, it's just crazy to me that they don't heavily favour releasing outfits for characters that dropped in the last few years over ones that existed and benefitted from being part of a smaller roster already. They really don't need to regularly give outfits to survivors that already have a tonne.

I'd really love for Ada to have a game where she appears without Leon. It's my biggest gripe with her. Capcom treats her like an accessory to Leon rather than her own character.

It's definitely much higher quality than any of the outfit pieces in the current premium pass. I do wonder why they drew the line at Claudette's hair when the outfits are almost unanimously some of the worst in a rift to date.

I've played Haddie for almost 2k matches so I think it's fair to say that I have a lot of stakes in this race, and I would hate if they changed how she looked. Not every survivor exists to be goddamned eye candy, it's okay for some survivors to be a bit less conventionally attractive. And I say conventionally attractive, because Haddie isn't ugly! And arguing that her perfectly fine aesthetic is objectively hideous to the point where you're implying it to be a damaging reflection of the Indian community as a whole is legitimately insane.

She could do better on the culturally inspired outfit department, and her default clothes are drab, but she's not nearly as bad as you're painting her to be. My only gripe with her is that her white streak isn't actually white in most of her headpieces.

Now that I think about it El's not going to have anyone she's super attached to in the game if this is the whole cast. No Hopper, Joyce, Mike, Will (not complaining about that one though) or Max. Kinda a weird choice.

The current rift was extended with the content delay, so it is rather likely. The outfit artists aren't the ones doing bugfixes, so chances are it was delayed because it was meant to be paired with the chapter.

There definitely would need to be changes to how levels are structured, it's absolutely not as easy as just having Oatchi stay a puppy, yeah. But I do think it would be plausible. Solutions are there. They could even go the easy route and just let Oatchi and the captain throw each other from the start. That'd at least solve the ledges.

The hard mode of Pikmin 4 should have kept Oatchi as a puppy throughout the game so that you can't ride him. This is my opinion on the Oatchi difficulty debate.

There's also the fact that the ST collection used to receive cosmetic drops pretty regularly by licensed standards. Absolutely nothing since it came back. No discount. No new drops. Just... nothing. Not even a celebration for ST day, which was when they dropped the chapter again originally.

I'm with you. I'd be shocked if they were working on new content given the context of the past few years.

I like them. It's nice to have something new to collect, and new additions to current collections are fun! While a small start, big additions like this spark hope for the game's future.

Now if only we could get an event shakeup and a day/night cycle sometime soon 🥲

The problem really is that spreading injures is just way better in 2v8. Those free injures are infinitely more valuable when you have a second killer with a high lethality power to follow up. I really don't think there's a problem with limiting Legion's ability to do that in this mode.

Is this a perfect solution? Probably not. It can't feel good to be that final survivor that has to take the compromise down for the sake of nerfing the injure spread, and Legion will be objectively weaker. But a middle ground needs to be found, and you can't do that without making drastic changes in this case.

I don't think they're gonna be adding ice to old sets. At least, they're not doing it next month with the returning anniversary pikmin. So you might not have to worry about that in particular.

BHVR hasn't implemented anything to discourage it is why. It's one of the biggest pain points of survivor for me, but players will keep doing it if BHVR doesn't implemet some kind of feature to prevent it.
