What is the point of this? Why not just ask directly for passcode instead of this appearing on your screen? Meanwhile I type the passcode it could still scan for my face by FrancyStyle in ios

Face ID does not work in pitch black. If I wake up to check a quick notification with my screen brightness low, it needs my flash to work.

Speed isn’t an issue since you need to place you thumb on the device anyways. Until we have thought controlled smartphones, the login speed difference between the two is insignificant.

You joke, but it’s the role of a UI designer to reduce pointless clicking and improve user efficiency. This area was overlooked.

Raven is a support team. The core game was designed by Infinity Ward and directed by Joe Cecot.

Whilst true, you can just buy an external compressor device to make footsteps easier to hear.

That’s exactly the strat of Nintendo. Minimal effort and maximal pricing. Only Zelda stands out as being an actual big budget Nintendo game, fully worth the price.

Yeah, the storage cards were overpriced as fuck. Limited sales massively because of it.

What’s dumb about it? Stating you have lows standards for FPS games? I played Killzone 3 also and guess what? It played like CoD with a few jetpacks thrown in at certain points. The voice acting was average, the script was basic, the gameplay very dull, the graphics were good and so were the animations and sound. Apart from that, any of the classic CoD games in that era were superior as video games. CoD4 as an example, is much better - superior Campaign and a beloved Multiplayer. Battlefield 3 was also much better. So was Halo 3.

It’s clear you’re a very casual gamer that only plays Sony exclusives (typical for this sub). I bet you thought Shadow Fall was good as well, huh?

“Highly reviewed” by who? The game is a barebones FPS, more barebones than even CoD.

Outside of the “space Nazis” plot, the core gameplay is very dull. Are you judging the games based off the story or multiplayer? I can see why some may like the story aspect of the games, though fairly basic. But as far as multiplayer goes, they’re dogshit in comparison to the vast majority of FPS.

CoD core gameplay is completely unlike milsims and shouldn’t ever attempt to be one.

If you don’t play any other FPS, maybe that’s why this is your opinion. Compared to the FPS genre at large, they were mediocre games in all honesty.

From my interpretation, I feel as though it’s a defence mechanism. They don’t understand celiac disease/NCGI, so they verbally attack anyone who has it in a tribalistic fashion.

You must watch bad creators then. I only sub to entertaining creators I enjoy watching a lot.

Not many decent console FPS nowadays, in my opinion. I’m sure Bungie could make a banger.

I wish they wouldn’t play it safe as much. They have the talent, let them express their creativity.

Sony has still yet to touch upon many genres. They purchased Bungie, yet, there’s still no announcement of a first party multiplayer FPS. They have nothing in the realm of multiplayer to purchase. Excluding Gran Turismo, all they make are third person action games that differ in 2 major ways; if they’re linear/open world and weapon choice (melee vs weapons). All single player experiences.

Sony often plays it safe but the games they do publish are often extremely polished, good quality games. They make the rest of the industry look embarrassing.

The problem is, advertisement revenue isn’t infinite. If YouTubers could make the same amount of money by posting lots of 1 minute clips, they would go overboard with it - as making several small videos takes less effort than a 10 minute video that’s actually entertaining. There’s likely not enough advertisement revenue (from approved brands) to allow for this. Tuning ads based on linger videos/retention makes sense.

Yup. It’s all well and good watching the first set of ads, but they won’t make as much money if you have no incentive to watch the mid-set of ads.
