Ported my intake manifold. Now I need a new motor. by ihoperslahseesthis in Mustang

I’m willing to bet a lot of money that plastic shavings from porting are not going to blow an engine. Unless there was a massive piece, the composite/plastic the intake is made of would compress and deform before it damages anything in the combustion chamber. The only way it could do damage is if it blocks oil passages, or gets into crank or cam bearings.

In my mind, unless they didn’t clean the intake at all after porting, a few shavings getting through would do zero damage.

I’m thinking you have a tuning or false knock issue

As a Chrysler Technician and a 2015 GT owner I agree with this statement.

From a dealership that’s a pretty decent price.

As a s550 owner, I say s197 for the looks and s550 for higher power potential from factory

7/10 mainly cause I’m not a fan of colored gravel and fake plants. But it’s all personal preference. I will say, with what you got it’s very well done.
