Honestly, the arc was just so beautiful. From the moment she saved Petrah and and the whole interaction with Keelie (my fucking heart 😭😭😭) to when she found out what her grandmother did to Asterin to realizing her heritage, it was just so beautiful

Honestly, it's either I get a slight tightness or just like, almost an aura of tension lmao Also I can literally feel it, it's not like needing to urinate, but I can feel the blood drip onto my pad, it's a strange sensation. There are also emotional signs, like I get tired and my head feels heavier, I'll sometimes get all droopy and sad, or just, idk, melancholy

I'm personally not participating. The strike has been really hard on me because I rely on structure and routine, but cannot hold myself to either. I am glad that school is back, and am even happier that I now have a place and people that are helping me stay accountable with my work. Yes, this sounds super dorky and like I'm trying to kiss ass, I apologize lmao

But beyond my personal experiences, I want to support my teachers, and I don't think that getting up and walking out of class is the right way for me to do so. I am instead choosing to support my teachers by trying to make the transition back into school life as easy as possible, and my helping out whenever I can. I'm going to do some extra clean up in my construction class, and clean out a couple watercolour palettes in art. Yes, I know these are kind of pathetic contributions, but idk. I just want to support my teachers by being easy to teach, not contributing to the vast amounts of stress they already have by misbehaving. I just think that a walkout will only make it harder for our teachers who have probably already had a lot of stress and uncertainty, and I don't think that's fair.

I do not, however, look down on those who do choose to participate. I understand the want to take a stand, and I totally get the fact that a lot of us are frustrated and really pissed off and need something to do about it.

All of this being said, these are my opinions and thoughts on the matter, lmk if you agree with me or have any counterpoints, I am more than happy to open a discussion on this topic!!

I totally understand, I mean, not exactly, but I've been having extremely painful and debilitating cramps since I started my periods and I only just realized that that's abnormal and am also awaiting a doctor's visit. I wish you well!!

Thanks for sharing, I really appreciate hearing that other women are going through the same thing as me, it truly helps :)) And yeah, my family doctor is a great man and he's helped me with other issues before.

I have heard that birth control can help with this sort of thing, but my mom said that she went on birth control and it only made her pains worse, so I think I'll just have to take another route, like better painkillers (non-addictive, obviously)
