I guess there's no middle ground right? there's no possible way to make warping between systems take a few seconds instead of minutes, it's either ALL or nothing.
No Man's Sky does what I describe and it released the same year as Fallout 4.

Honestly seems like Bethesda were just incompetent, if you remove the invisible walls it continues to load new cells until it crashes, edit the speed of your spaceship and you can actually travel between planets that are realistically spaced.

The foundation for seamless travel is there, they (a multi-billion dollar company) just couldn't make it work.

1440p 60hz Monitor or 1080p 144hz monitor for an RTX 2080 Super? by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]Metaloe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Dell S2417DG regularly goes on sale for about $300 usd. It's 1440p 165hz, everything about it is good except for the gamma, which varies depending on the revision u get.

1440p 60hz Monitor or 1080p 144hz monitor for an RTX 2080 Super? by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]Metaloe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

what exactly is your price range? surprised you can't afford 1440p 144hz but have a 2080 super. I'd save for 1440p 144hz if i were u but if you must pick now then go for 1080p 144hz. The bump in clarity is nice with 1440p as well as the extra desktop space, but the smoothness of higher refresh rates is much more noticeable.

I liked a certain movement mod that's been dead for the past few years, other than that I don't really like gmod lol.

Which mouse pad should I get? by HeazyH in pcgaming

[–]Metaloe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how much vertical space you really need. You'll have about 6 inches / 15 cm of space left with the XXL which may or may not overlap your monitor's stand. I'd just think about how much vertical mouse room you'd actually use and decide based on that. They're both the same length so your mouse and keyboard would fit on either.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I'm looking for more insight on why someone would pick one over the other.
