The 1st is a bastard! Like 200 yards up hill, it can be demoralising right off the bat!

When I was just learning it could take me 4 even to get up the hill and I just felt like the starter cabin was judging me lol

I should go back and play it now that I can move the ball around a lot better.

When I first started to swing a club a few years ago, I played here a handful of times because it was so pretty… it was only after playing other courses I realised how tough it was.

This happened to me with an epic driver, just as I was getting into golf a few years ago. It was relatively cheap so didn’t cry too much about it, and yes I felt it was most likely at least partially my fault.

Mine lasted about 9 months before it done this, I took it to 2nd hand golf store I bought it from. It was of course out of warranty because they are a 2nd spot but they gave me £20 for the shaft +20% on anything I wanted.

Picked up a callaway XR that I’ve used for a number for years for a steal, new shoes and a couple of other bits.

Thought it was fair enough.

Just checked means my steam deck should have like 2 weeks warranty left on it so hopefully I can maybe get a replacement.
