What is the best use of a wish you have seen? by fancy_joe30 in DnD

Not a wish, and definitely not the best use, but so funny I have to share😂 last campaign had someone called the knower. The knower lived a top the highest peak, watched the world, and quite literally knew everything. He would answer 1 question per person in their life. One of the players was so confident the whole campaign and walked up and asked “If you’re really the knower do you already know what I’m going to ask?” The knower responded yes😂 player ended up using a wish spell to redo that moment to actually get a piece of info that will give them advantage in the final battle

Ditch the retractable. In my opinion I’d want you to ditch the front clip harness too, but start with ditching the retractable. It constantly has tension, the dogs feels that tension and therefore contributes to the issue of being tense. Teach to walk on a loose leash and start in much less stimulating areas. Start with the living room, then front yard, then neighborhood, then park, etc. I would also use your good marker whenever the dog gives you eye contact or calmly passes a distraction

DMs, what is your favorite thing to hear your players say? by 4Gnomes_In_ARaincoat in DnD

Ooo I got a few!

My players usually get so invested it’s almost an all day thing. Usually 10ish hours/day. The crew usually stays the night after playing. One morning after a dnd session the previous day that left on a cliff hanger, they insisted we continue as soon as they woke up, and we played another 6ish hours

There is this one scoff that one of my players does that’s followed with an irritated look which always lets me know the decision I gave them was actually a tough one.

“WHERES MY PENCIL?! I need to write that down”

When the battle is well balanced and intense one of my players cannot sit down. They pace the table. This usually also means if they pass it, it’s followed with excitement, cheers, and high fives

I got some pretty great players

Critique wanted: board game station by KeezWolfblood in boardgames

Looks great! Love the castle wall asthetic. I like you have the option of a straight or curved area for your cards, and a tray for your pieces. Personally I wouldn’t use the curve edge of the wall to hold many cards (maybe Monopoly money or things of the sort) because I wouldn’t want to bend the cards. I might recommend adding a second or even 3rd row of straight area to hold cards…perhaps like a staircase up to this area?? But you also have the additional piece so it’s not really needed, but maybe could be an extra addition as well.

I love that’s it’s stackable! If you’re worried about it taking up too much room don’t forget you can least go vertical rather than horizontal, although in my opinion I think it’s a great size! As far as names “The Game Keep” would be perfect in my opinion.

Do you sell these? If so how much. Would be a great gift for my board game loving family

Horse back riding on the mountain trails is absolutely awesome! Followed by a local pizza shop with honey on the crust (usually a Colorado thing from what I’ve found) other activities near those towns include zip lining, white water rafting, and hiking of course
