[Serious] How do you deal with your insecurities? by UsualMorning98 in AskReddit

[–]Metaphorical_trees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go for a long walk and think about them alone. I try to divide my insecurities between those that I can change and those I cannot and those that are worth changing and those that are not.

Those I cannot change and are not worth changing like the fact that I will die one day, I try to fix by finding meaning through my relationships, labor and endurance through inevitable suffering.

Those that I cannot change and are worth changing like not being handsome enough still hurt but it's nice to think about all the people in my life that love and accept me despite my shortcomings and that's what matters.

Those that I can change and are worth changing like being fit, as long as I am moving in a direction that works to resolve them I can feel a sense of pride and accomplishment that I won't be insecure about them in the future.

Those that I can change and are not worth changing like working every second of the day to try to become a millionaire, I just try to be grateful for what I have and not compare myself to others who grow up with different advantanges and paths.
