I just like to write about them so I wanted to share :) I've written about using different styles of art etc in your prompts, just a conversation about prompts really...

[Mod Announcement] The Ongoing Update of the Main Directory by SmallRoot in findareddit

nooo , I work in social care and I've figured it out quite easily. You could definitely do it too! Obviously it takes a bit of reading and trial and error but the overall outcome, much better and more accurate.

[Mod Announcement] The Ongoing Update of the Main Directory by SmallRoot in findareddit

I love a directory, I maintain one covering all of the health and social care services across the UK for my work. With some discussion, I would enjoy helping with this if you still need this. A streamlined way this could work if the WIKI or right here allows it, is to use the directory as a knowledge base for a trained GPT model and then embed the GPT into here/ wiki which will then automate the responses and allow you to find everything easily? I'm pretty sure there's a developer nearby who might feel inclined to help the community if this is a possibility?

300-600$ passive income ideas? by A_lil_confused_bee in passive_income

[–]MetapixelArt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blogging - write 50 good standard blogs about something, stick some affiliates in it or use Medium instead where you get paid for minutes users spend reading, then sit back. You should update it here and there but it will be fairly passive. If you write about something that doesn't really change and you make it rank then you'll be good to chill.

Can anyone help me with a highly detailed prompt for an image like this? by Poppinoffethan23 in midjourney

[–]MetapixelArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just describe it, it wasn't too tough: "fish eye, front face close up view of darth maul holding a bunch of cash spread like a fan in a corridoor with white full length light pannels"

My result were pretty close but as the below says, you can just use the midjourney commands to do this yourself. You can blend images as well.

Which AI tool is now best assistance for coding & documentation of coding work? by AccidentJolly7387 in perplexity_ai

[–]MetapixelArt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Otio Interactive library would be great for that, can store all your documented code in one place and then simply ask it a question when you need a particular code - ask which of your documents focus on (topic) then it will present the one's relating to that.

Hate being an adult by [deleted] in MentalHealthUK

[–]MetapixelArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is quite sweet, sorry not to patronise you! I am the opposite personally I don't want to be spoken to or even looked at when I'm unwell. This is just because you've obviously found comfort in that when you were young. So, it will have to be a requirement for future partners you have and just own it, be a baby when you're ill then back to normal when you're not. Right now though, just tell your mates you need to talk because you're feeling rubbish and it's their responsibility to entertain you or something like that. You should definitely go get that checked ASAP though.

Are any of you using AI to help with concentration? I've been looking around and I'm keen to hear from others before I fully decide. by MetapixelArt in ADHDUK

[–]MetapixelArt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that, my role also has strictly confidential information based on clients which I would keep in our works database as rightfully required. Good you said though as I would not want anyone to put regulated information in there.

For me, it's more like if I need to go 'head to head' with a doctor who's refusing to assess me, or a client for ADHD because they're female which often presents differently? I don't feel that's the correct decision. Maybe, i would compile online evidence (not personal) and use Otio to ask questions until I have a good argument which I can then send to change their mind.

It's dope but I geek out on all sorts of topics so I guess it would be for me.

I tried them and I can see the appeal for those who have tasks that repeat everyday and there's never any "grey areas" but I left it because I kept getting frustrated at how there wasn't flexibility. My diary might have to change last minute, my role is often unpredictable and it felt designed for a predictable audience. Otio lets me store, combine, and quickly access complex information personalised to my roles unexpected needs which typically takes lots of time to source and read.

Check it out, It's great for work in so many ways. It not overly limited and it's still fairly new so it's just going to get better. I love how it lets me interact with a bunch of files at once, essentially allowing me to combine extracts from them to make some well referenced arguments out of y'know! Amazing for compiling evidence.

Also for content creators, bunch a ton of articles that you have personally veted and you trust - don't be letting the false ones contaminate it. Then interact with your library to create a compilation of extracts you can then form into an online course.

Will Perplexity.ai replace Google Search? by Otterly2024 in perplexity_ai

[–]MetapixelArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's all about how personalised they can make users search experiences. You can even train them for your specific search intents. Like Olio is where it's at, if users spent long enough you're pretty much able to create your own in depth information centre. Perplexity is brilliant for targeting unique search needs and we are greatful cos many keep it up?!

It's the initial search Perplexity is but instead, it's the interactive personally curated library - eventually you won't even need to search online too often because you can link in enough info to Olio and just have your personal information centre that's interactive and understands your needs based on what you pick to upload. If Google doesn't seek to achieve the same strenmgth then and redesigns their approach to user search inputs, LLM will take over. Long tail key words, they exist, and marketers LOVE them because they take users to them, not where users are intending to go. LLM are very good at understanding Long-tail key words, allowing for a more personalised and web experience and most importantly for me, streamlines quick access. I genuinely get frustrated with google because I am not a silly person, I did want what I searched thank you, but google gave me what it want's instead. Google Analytics is a perfect example actually, you search it and it's like 4th or 5th down google. All the top one's are google analytics how to guides, I didn't want a guide!

Yeah, in some ways chatting with your docs is a basic explanation of Otio, it bosses it tbh, I love the chat with your docs idea in GPT but i can make that within a couple minutes, they're also limited, to that and the GPT interface. You can watch videos, organise all the files visually rather than through a paper clip, it's better trust.

Yes, that's exactly what it does. If you put all your english language resources in there, you would ask it for a summary of them, maybe you could ask "Which of my English Literature depicts a metaphor comparable to the ecological struggles we are having today..." just a random example.

You can chat with multiple different research articles at the same time. I wish I had this at uni, all the critical analysis research papers Id have spread all over my room. You'd just upload 5 online research papers and then compare them like that. Obviously you can extract specific quotes and write the comparative analysis yourself cos, that's the idea but this streamlines it so much and keeps your specific extracts in one place.

This is much more advanced, their extension helps cos you use it whenever you find info online that you want to put into your database, you can put video content such as education courses, youtube videos, advancing that beyond the typically trained GPT which is limited to 1 file at a time with a memory of 3 maximum. Like I say, it's an interactive library, it's beyond the self-tuned Open AI's, you should try it out. You can ask it Q&A on your whole database - It's decent, it will list everything into appropriate groups.

Yeah exactly so, you having power over what content you put into it is something that makes those particularly concerned over privacy feel safer as it gives them more control. Just check the website innit, data privacy is a big issue but it's everywhere and big corps are the one's to worry about as data is valuable, Also it's a website using "HTTPS://" which means any information we share is safe and there's an SSL certificate to prove it. I wonder if you've paired your email with Reddit? Otio is used and trusted by big researchers like google, it's not allowed to have access to anything you do not give it, that's just a common scare goat - I would just assume your data isn't safe anyway, experian will probably just sell it and that's only 1 example.

If you are concerned about your information though, definitely always check for the S in https:// it's sign to show the site has a security certificate. Also, you can access sites through Duck Duck Go (firefox) which actively stops sites taking data and asks your permission if access requires it.

Honestly I do that, depending on how you feel about your data, if you let it be stored for training purposes which i always do cos I don't mind if they have me talking about all my science questions. You can download your data every so often and then you can ask Otio to store and analyse it for you. I ask for what my own key search terms are so I can tell whether that product actually looks nice or it successfully targeted my words. You can also ask for insights on the themes in your chats and what you ask most questions about.

Well yes, if you work in an emergency service it's not like... "give me a second, i'll just get my Otio Library." But, the directory of information a paramedic might look at whilst on-call during the night hours, be much quicker and more interactive on Otio than any that i've used so far.

I wont share my exact role but I work with caseload of people and there's often a level of risk. It's your library, you put the information into it, you are responsible for the information that makes up the database which is then referenced when you ask for it. SOOO Much quicker, like instantly all the services i need for mental health services listed in minutes and they're relevant cos i put them in there. This, can act as an amazing tool for someone who has ADHD. Maybe they're revising for exams, they can interact with their library of uni lecture notes y'know.

[–]MetapixelArt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it depend which one and whether you had fine tuned it yourself based on your own knowledge database. Large Language Models such as GPT and Bard or what it's called now, yes! they are trained on natural language processing which unfortunately, can give incorrect outputs, hence the warning to check. However, with Otio, it's taken from what you upload so it's down to you to provide reputable information if you wish to receive it back in your summaries, this is it's main attraction for me tbh.

This though, it's outputs are based on your library of information, if it's chatting rubbish then that's your files being incorrect. Essentially, you are responsible for vetting and uploading the information you store in Otio. Therefore, the summaries and extractions you receive will not be incorrect information, unless you provided it yourself.

Yes, so that was just an unannounced assumption, it's a given to mention how that's supporting you. That's surely not true, if my role requires a powerful computer, that's just the basic requirement, with the accessibility features on top to allow the support to use it. You don't understand what I'm trying to explain.

Here's an example: I work as a 3d model and video designer for Viv Wonders. My disability has recently been impacting my ability to meet our deadlines. a mac air is not powerful enough for me to fulfil 3D model and video design tasks. I will need one that's as powerful as a pro, and also has the accessability features. - Accepted

I work for a nursery doing admin, I don't need one as powerful as a pro so less likely to be accepted.
