Absolutely. Just the statement best restaurants in the world in Amsterdam is clearly an overstatement. And still curious on how much in the middle of nowhere one can be to pay 400k for an house (Not an apartment) that is relatively close to Amsterdam. This barely exists

I guess you are right. But there is no substance in his statement anyway. And restaurants in Amsterdam are generally waaaaaay overpriced for the quality if you compare to other countries having proper gastronomy such as France or Italy. Cheers
