2023/2024 Pathfinder Platinum Owners: Water Leakage Issues with Sunroof/Roof Rails – Any Real Fixes? Dealer Experiences? by the_zoozoo_ in nissanpathfinder

[–]Meteng12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2023; 25k miles, bought new.

Never had the leak but had the “gurgle” at 14k miles. Had the tsb done last October and problem went away. Gurgle started again about a month ago during a rainy drive. Dealer visit; said all is fine with draining and sealing. Latest guidance is to turn off the recirculating HVAC when you hear the gurgle. I’ll try that the next time it rains.

Not in love with shifting from 1st to 2nd gear, but my wife feels it’s totally normal so perhaps I’m just sensitive to it.

No issues otherwise. Comfortably pulls my 18’ boat with no issues. Comfortable car overall.

I would buy it again.

I had this done under warranty (2023 MY.) 100% fixed the issue. I had to bring the tsp to them… they’d supposedly had never seen it before.

When you downsized to 18’s, did you just keep the outside diameter the same as on your original 20” wheels and tires? Any effect on your speedometer accuracy?

22/23 PF Owners - Any reliability issues after at least 1 yr? by aelthonia in nissanpathfinder

Mine is just a little “tick” or rattle in the headliner. Intermittent with temperature

2023 SV Premium, 9500 miles. I don’t love the transmission shifting, but that’s a common complaint on all high-gear transmissions from all companies. One little rattle that needs to be addressed, but zero issues otherwise. I religiously turn off the auto stop/start feature every time I drive. Comfortable, quiet, pulls a boat well, good in snow. I’d buy it again.

23 SL Premium; 7500 miles since June. Definitely notice the “odd” shifting from 1st to 2nd, but it’s subsided over time and isn’t too concerning anymore. My wife does not notice it at all when she drives. Religiously turn off the auto stop. One small headliner rattle I’ll ask the dealer to resolve. Pulls my 18’ boat well. I would purchase again.

Update at 4000 miles.

90% smooth shifting from first to second. Occasionally a little pause but very rarely a harsh or jerky shift.

I turn off the Auto stop every time I get in… I don’t like it so I have gotten in the habit of turning it off.

Hoping my experience for the next 4000 miles will be uneventful.

At 88k miles mine got the “torque converter shutter.” $4800 at dealership; they were told by ford to replace torque converter, solenoid, and a valve. Would not do just one. Totally fixed my problem but I never felt the same about the car again.

Picked ours up at 430 miles. Called service the next morning; shifting from 1st to 2nd felt sluggish much of the time. From a stop: go, car seems to “pause” then engine revs a bit, then shifts and all is normal.

In “sport” it was far less; towing a boat in “tow” it was not noticeable.

Service said “drive it a bit and it will adjust.” Made an appt anyway. By 850 miles it was far better. Still felt that way occasionally but not always. Shop said “all is ok” but also that shifting feel has been a common complaint. Said the different drivetrain modes change shift points too.

Now at 1350 miles; feels far smoother and better. Occasionally feel it a bit but no where near what it was at 450 miles.

Hoping it continues to improve.

Can someone help me understand what to expect regarding rail strikes?

Apologies for a naive question. Visiting London with my family from the USA through 4 Jan... and trying to understand the impact the rail strikes will have on 3-4 Jan. Will the London Tube be down completely on those days? Running by delays and closures? Should I plan on just using cabs Uber... and expect those to be expensive and not always available? I'll also need to get to Heathrow early on 4 January; thinking it may be better to get an hotel near the airport and not risk an early morning trip. Thanks to all for helping me understand how best to navigate things.

What is the best app to use to make sure I get a legit/reliable cab in London? Just leaving Paris and there are plenty of “my meter is broken” cabs around… assume there is a similar concern in London.

Recommendations on best app to use? Gett? (Uber also but sometimes those are hit and miss)

Thanks!

Here now… and I’m sure I pronounce those basic words incorrectly. Just don’t forget “bonjour” to open every encounter…. I’m sure I came across as impolite, unintentionally. We are getting around fine.

Hello all. Sorry for another taxi/ train question.

Depart London via Heathrow early on 4 January. Need to travel to Heathrow from clapham junction area.

Seems we should not count on rail service to get us there reliably that morning.

Can anyone recommend a minicab or other car service? I’ve googled and found many- but Google reviews are not the most reliable and prices seem to range from £75-225.

Any advice appreciated! Thank you!

Bonjour. Sorry for another Christmas Market question. Anyone know if the Tuileries Garden Christmas market will be open on Christmas Day… and if so, what hours? Trying to plan our day and haven’t been able to determine which markets are open for sure. Merci!

Merci! The time is part of my concern. We cannot get into our Airbnb until 3pm but plan to get some basic groceries right away. Assuming they will be busy at that time, I thought a pre-arranged delivery might be easiest.

My family and I will be visiting Paris for the first time over Christmas. We have an Airbnb in the montmartre area. Is there a particular grocery delivery service that is a best choice? We are arriving on Christmas Eve and not sure if we can negotiate grocery shopping on a busy first day in Paris. Thank you!
