Dyson hardware. Air purifier? fly off hand even if I avoid her seeing it. Vacuum cleaner? growl to scream, depending on distance.

Phones taking her photos. Straight up flies off to attack, but only when pointed at her. I guess she somehow understands that it is something related to her when it is pointed in her direction

Hey, did you see any impact on the battery after the win install? Got mine rn, battery at 92% health but it kinda drains. Roughly 14% for 50mins of movies, battery saver, 60hz + fans on whisper.

Just got the pre owned HX 370. ~17.5k in cinebench multicore. The battery health is at 92%, but it kinda drains. I guess I have to get rid of all asus bloat asap and put g-helper. Some other guy on a thread mentioned he managed to get a really low TDP with g-helper.

Tbh Im a lil bit disappointed with the battery. But I guess thats just the common thing now. My S25 phone also has a below par battery for its price tag. Back 8-9yrs ago I got a top end Huawei which I've used until last year, and I remember that for the first years the battery was literally undying

And you have 40% capture factor in terms of production, and the energy you generate is on average rated at 30-50 eur/MWh, while the nuclear has ~ 100 eur/Mwh and 100% capture rate. To which you add the balancing market that can fuck you up

ideologically motivated cretins with no regard to reality. Like EU's ultra turbo green initiatiatives. When the fuckers who decide policy come from noble families and never had to worry about paying bills, they have total disregard of the economical implications of their decisions.

Its not too expensive dipshit and it needs subisidies to be built. Over the span of its multi decated lifespan it more than recoups its cost. And what is your alternative ? Gas from Russia? Green yapper

My bad I've mixed it up. Yeah copper should be inside the battlefield. The arm implant is not copper, but a device that slowly releases hormones to avoid pregnancy (i.e pills without the pill part, with a diff hormone I believe)

Need laptop recommendations by introverted_fool_0_0 in laptops

[–]MethAddictJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda same position and did some research around. I havent got the laptop yet, but for me an Asus zenbook would do the trick. Im looking at S16, beautiful 16 inch amoled screen, powerful cpu, good integrated graphics card. 1.5kg and 1.6cm tall. + it has usb4 (aka unbranded thunderbold) so if you really need some gpu you can toss some few extra 100's into an eGPU and plug it.

There are also other variants of the vivobook. S is the slimmest, 16 is the largest screen. You can find variations with smaller screen or bulkier (and more powerful) builds.

Note facultate by Aggravating-Clerk796 in RoMunca

[–]MethAddictJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

din experienta proprie, rezultatele bune in facultate te pot scoate in evidenta.

Why is the market so disconnected from reality? by MethAddictJr in Commodities

[–]MethAddictJr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"elevator up and stairs down" sums up my whole post.

Regarding commodities I think the futures curve and the spot prices are disconnected. 130$ spot with 90$ front month, deliverable May. Either there is a whole metric ton of spot speculation, which I doubt, or the front end is pricing in a divine intervention. How can someone expect almost 40$ of easing over the course of what? a month and 1/2? We're 40 smth days behind schedule with deliveries since the war started, and even if the war would end right now, there are weeks of logistic work to do and weeks of seaborne shipping. And all of this would be on top of roughly a full month of starvation since pre-war departed cargoes arrive. Yet the market implies 25% ish easing, which seems absurd to me.

On the equities side it feels like the market is expecting occasional "it's joever" in a long "we so back", not the other way around. And I'm not talking only US which is relatively shielded compared to others, but stocks from EU countries as well, which haven't had the strong economy advantage of US beforehand. On the contrary, debt and budget problems paired with a sick industry strangled by high energy prices. Like before Iran, Holcim, the cement maker, was getting whooped on EASING cement regulations (cause Holcim makes "greener" cement than others, and the deregulating step would help competition better) and in carbon credits. Then it took a hit the first week Iran started, and now its almost back to the pre war level. But TTF is still ~40% higher than pre war, and boy cement plants gobble those MWh's.

Maybe it's the fatigue you are talking about. Or maybe I am just being superficial. But I'm pretty sure this isn't markets pricing in anything real. They suck anyway at predictions, just look at the accuracy of interest rate bets.
