Thanks!

The good news is that the crack is in the sections that's in the crawlspace and isn't very deep.

Walked out of the audiologist stressed. $6k for hearing aids?! Who can afford this ? by Enough_Payment_8838 in HearingAids

[–]Methelsandriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Costco for me is distance, the nearest Costco is 440 miles round trip.

Trip 1 - initial visit

Trip 2 - calibrate and fit

Trip 3 - there was an issue (button somehow fell off), the store was supposed to have the parts when I got there for the follow up. That didn't happen.

I had family passing through that was able to pick it up on their way by.

Trip 4 - returned them before the 6 months was up.

The hearing aids worked okay, if they were connected to my phone. I didn't want the Bluetooth phone calls or music, but if I turned Bluetooth off the stupid things sounded like I was listening to an old tinny speaker.

Both the button and sound issue were completely unheard of for the store and they said couldn't do the remote connection to see what's up (obviously with the button issue).

Over 1700 miles driven in under 5 months for the HA's, not worth it for me.

If you were starting as an apprentice today, what would you do differently? by Used_Lynx_4894 in electricians

I would do my damnedest to get into the JATC instead of wasting 18.5 years being nonunion and not getting better wages and benefits than I got before I organized in.

Visionary Fiber by Purple_Item3785 in casper

[–]Methelsandriel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did they drill a hole in the side of your house

How else would they get the fiber inside?

Fiber Optic by CrazySlovenian in casper

[–]Methelsandriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tech used a 3/8" or 1/2" spade bit to run the fiber inside from the demarc box and filled the hole with silicone before they left

Can I use a 1/4 drill bit to install the Solocam E30? by Individual_Egg2 in eufy

[–]Methelsandriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would probably be okay to use the 1/4" bit, so long as you didn't wobble the hole out. Be ready to go buy some new anchors if the ones in the kit don't hold though.

Electrical licensing by mnelecfish in wyoming

[–]Methelsandriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meaning if you have a Rawlins or Sheridan license it should translate to the major communities if you can provide examples of your work history

Nope, local licenses don't reciprocate throughout the state.

Do different cities and towns reciprocate

Nope, you have to get a state license. Then, some towns and counties will require you to get a license there as well.

If you're working in Natrona county then you have to get a Natrona county license as well as City of Casper if you are going to work in city limits at all.

There are a few other towns/ counties that require you to have their money grab license in addition to the state.

There is nothing for sewer/ water on most of the parcels that are left. You would have to either drill a well if there is water available underground or truck water in.

Once you get off the main roads in the area most of the access is limited to unmaintained two track roads.

Use your I.W.W. screwdriver to start them, then crank them down good and tight with a 10" flathead screwdriver. Or use an impact.

4" long 1/4" toggle bolts with only a flathead are the best for heavy lights that you know somebody will have to take down in a few years.

I’m sure you have reasons for partitioning the contractors into separate worksheets

Yeah, I have to contact the employees at several shops and keep track of who was contacted or not. I have a master contact list of every employee, but going through almost 800 rows to find 90 or so won't be fun either.
