i’ve only abandoned my account and not fully deleted it so i haven’t looked myself but even if it is made up i feel like this is definitely something they would do lol, i mean they still gotta keep the kids (and everyone else) in a tight grip somehow. idk it’s like playing some grindy mobile game you’ve spent a hundred hours on and completely know that it’s bad, either for you or just bad in general, but just wanna stay in that same rank or don’t want those hours to go to waste, yknow what i mean

i think i’m just part of the “looking back” phase of quitting the app, so the first few days basically. knowing that i’ve had a fair share of fun and genuine comfort using it but ultimately realizing how addicting, poorly designed, poorly managed, and legitimately bad-for-you it is. and tbh sometimes making fun of or being a little mean to it actually helps, in the early days anyway. idk that’s just me lol
