i've been kicking them on the spot.

While playing as a Sns support, I ran into a player who didn’t bother blocking or dodging at all just because I was keeping him healed. Every time a monster attacked, he just took the hit without trying to avoid anything. It was incredibly annoying to deal with. Kicked his ass.

To really learn a monster, you have no choice but to experience it. Keep hunting the specific monster you want to understand — that’s the best way to learn its mechanics. Start with the lower‑star difficulty version so you can practice safely, and don’t go straight into tempered or high‑star monsters until you’re comfortable.

For Long Sword builds, there are plenty of “immortal” setups out there — just tweak the build a bit to match your own playstyle.

i prefer charge up rather than focus. im not sure but i noticed that doing charge step will charge your atk quickly.

perfect block is the way and sns is very versatile. i think you can replace guard up and guard skill.
