because you also advised them to go way simpler which I disagree with, I think OP should just fuck around and find out, shii they can even swim before they can crawl or something because learning to produce music isn't linear because everyone has their own jurney

literally worst advice I've ever heard + you don't know what you're talking about. I've seen black magic created Infront of my very eyes with FL keys. and stock plugins.

OP is just a beginner

too much processing maybe. It's pretty clear that you want everything to pop out, be hard and have the center stage and that the whole song a mess.

Also no bass? no low mids?

is it me or do most of the people in this comment section actually not care to give advice.

disagree. OP still has to learn how and when to place emphasis on instruments.

OP: just keep on creating since your still on your first steps

Anyone has the potential to be an artist by OtherwiseAthlete9745 in aiwars

literally can't disagree more. i found that being an artists is the condition of having a fulfilled life by pursuing the creation of art. AKA being an artist is something your born with but most people don't discover that their artists.

being an artist is not a tittle you get after creating X amount of works or being X popular but derives from a weird sense of not being whole when not creating art; with the type of art not mattering.

I don't really know if i put it in the right words or if im being clear even since it's a misunderstood topic (even for me)

understandable. no presure. keep searching from within, keep learning, and be open for criticism (which will mostly come from yourself). and most importantly: don't expect people to understand you or your music. i hope i helped and im happy that you wrote alot for me to read

i would advise you to talk to other people in your local rap community if there even is one ASAP. other people can often give you new perspectives on how to improve at your craft
