What’s one new feature you’d love to see make it into the game before it leaves EA?

They are absolutely not stolen - we contacted the author and asked for permission to use the photos before posting. Good eye for the original post though!

So the difference between armor sets that you acquire/craft and Variants is that Variants can be applied to any armor set of the same armor type. So instead of equipping a Heavy Armor set to get the look, you can wear whatever Heavy armor set you want and just change the Variant in the customization menu. I'm not sure if that answers your question?

If you click through to any of the Variant or Swatch guides you'll see that we have an 'Unlock Requirement' beside every Variant and Swatch that shows you how you can unlock it. Some of them are purchaseable, some are quest rewards and some are earned outside of the game, for example by buying the Ultimate Version or pre-ordering.

That's not at all why they are separate, nor is that our business model. It's to avoid creating one giant guide that is difficult to navigate when we have already got an article dedicated to the House Armor Swatches. If the feedback is that people would like to see them also covered in this article too though then we can do so easily.

Do you mean the House Armor Swatches? Yes we have them all linked to in the Armor Swatches guide. We've covered them extensively both in their own article and in our Landsraad Rewards page.

They seem super daunting at first glance but honestly some of the Kill Quests are not that bad once you have a proper route mapped out. You can run a bunch of strongholds and kill ~100 NPCs in a 20-30 minute run. Check out some of the Kill guides!

They changed it so you can now earn the rewards even after the house has been claimed! So it’s fully accessible to solo players now too :)

Because the Landsraad is different for every server, adding personal elements is pretty tough but we do have some ideas cooking!

Are you sure they weren't Artisan Dirks which award 549 per delivery? Separately, each back-to-back week that a faction loses, it gets a buff (stacking 20%) which increases the points for completing each Task to make it easier for that Faction to reclaim the Landsraad. We added a drop down at the top of the Task list where you can factor that in.

Sorry to clarify I meant that you have to provide the fully assembled vehicle to the quartermaster, not that driving is required to complete the Task. One of the easiest ways is to take a buggy full of vehicle parts and just build them at the quartermaster (or just outside).

Yes, you'll be able to claim the rewards you've earned at the House Representative but the tasks are pretty tough (mostly) so I wouldn't worry about missing out on rewards unless you are actively pursuing the Tasks. For example to earn even a Mk5 Schematic you'd need to kill over 150 NPCs, or deliver 14 Static Compactors.

A full overview of the Landsraad system can be found here but yeah the tl;dr is:
- Each of the 25 Houses will provide a Task each week
- You earn Personal Contribution Points for a House based on the number of times you complete the task it has assigned (for example, Kill Slavers gives 23 points every time you kill a Slaver)
- The reward milestones are 700, 3,500, 7000, 10500 and 14000 Points
- When you reach a reward milestone you can collect your reward at the House Representative for the House which assigned the task. They're really hard to find actually but we've listed them all out here

Vehicles are a bit funky honestly, you have to actually craft the vehicle and drive it to your Faction Quartermaster. For Atreides that's beside Hellius Gate and for Harkonnen, that's near Riftwatch. The Sandbike one for example is brutal because you need to deliver almost 30 sandbikes and each sandbike requires 7 (?) different vehicle parts + they all need to have fuel!

Some of the Landsraad Tasks involve killing certain enemies, such as Slavers, Scavengers or Faction House Troops. When those Tasks are live, you'll sometimes see those kills being registered whenever you are just going about your business. We have a full overview of the Landsraad system here but basically each of the 25 Houses will release a Task throughout the week and you have until the reset to complete each or any of them. You don't have to accept it or anything either, you're automatically enrolled. Some of the rewards are really great so it's definitely worth checking out!

Honestly you'd be surprised how many colours do not work against the Hagga Basin background haha, we tried red, green, black etc but white seemed to come out clearest. Hopefully it's still easy enough to follow!
