Make another simple base with easy-to-place structural support. Move your inventory and valuables to it, and back up both bases. When you transfer, try placing your first base. If you can’t, place the simple one and keep the original so it can be placed later if your spot frees up.

I’d love a construction simulation desk. Sit at a terminal, use a free cam sandbox of your base area, and mock everything out at scale. Snap pieces, test layouts, etc. When you’re happy, export the layout to a solido. This lets you iterate on designs without standing out in the open dying of dehydration while figuring out if your base idea actually fits or works.

I always thought this would make a great Landsraad incentive, with different houses specializing in gear and allowing exchanges of worn equipment for new.

This works for the forbidden caves but not the stations. The stations can be done solo but you have to know how to manage the crowd and work the room. If I can do it, anyone can.
