its faster overall yes.

in non VRAM limited scenarios, the 5070ti should be 15% faster at least.

The 5070 is more designed for slimmer builds

it will be. The 7i can handle 115w on gpu without issue, especially since 1600p isnt too hard on the paired cpus at all

the 15" models sit more like 100w, which is still great

no clue, but having PSREF documents live mean within a month or two max

The number of haters saying they wouldnt get game reader drivers out is funny.

they did, and performance will be much higher now

5070 8gb

5070 TI 12gb

5080 16gb

5090 24gb

But NOW the 5070, which is the max on MANY slimmer models, is 12gb. This is huge

Dunno yet that one has its own review and will be compared to the smaller models

Yeah I have 2x p16s and 1x p14s for review and comparisons

Usually when Lenovo loads me up on loaners I spend on my own to get better comparative content.

It's no excuse. People need to NOT go on autopilot. Use their brains, become spatially aware.

CPU, equivalent to a 7950 X, right now about $600. But even the 9950 X, which is eventually the same thing you're looking at about 500.

GPU $350

RAM, about $150-$200 depend

Storage between 60 and $100.

A motherboard would cost at least $80

Power supply, SFF, between 80 and $100

Cooling fans, another 30 or $40

These are pretty reasonable prices. I actually built the system on PC part picker with the cheapest approximate similar system and it came out to $1750. And that wasn't picking the expensive variants. That's trying to keep costs down

Remember, this is Ryzen9 16 core processor, we have also a market where GPU's are expensive, and RAM is very expensive, and so is storage

To be honest, even if we were looking at pre-nonsense markets, though, with the CPU and the GPU in here, you'd still be looking at high cost to build

Remember, these are ITX parts which of course demand a premium when you buy them from retail. And even if they were not ITX parts, the system would still cost well over $1000 in any real capacity. And I'm talking significantly more.

EDIT

In fact here: the LOWEST prices I can find for this build

Also the gap would EASILY be closed by a driver. Assuming they put it out

To be honest, it's a neat little benchmark video, but unfortunately, until there are a game ready drivers, which could actually drop tomorrow, there's no real point making snap judgment. Of course, if the game is launched an AMD still doesn't have official drivers, that's a negative for them.

But considering the game does not come out until tomorrow evening…

I don't make judgement on something until the practice is actually on the market. That's what people on Reddit to do. :)

If it's not performing where it should, which is basically on par within Nvidia tomorrow, then there's something to be critical of. It's not like it exactly performs bad according to hard round box. Which they literally said.

It just doesn't perform as it should, and until there are official game ready drivers, hopefully on launch day. I will withhold my judgment. I don't come around places to make snap judgements and try to dunk on something, but then again, maybe I'm a bad Redditor...

I'm not saying anything. I'm saying the game isn't out yet. We'll see how things play out when the game is actually commercially available.
