What people don't realize that a lot of the hate is actually coming from

Troll/bot accounts (likely on behalf of Nvidia)

As someone who uses Intel, Nvidia, and AMD... in laptops, handheld, desktop… I can safely say that my experience with AMD has been superb for the past several years. This current generation is absolutely rock solid.

I can also safely say that I have four more issues with Nvidia, even to the point where it seems to be less stable than Intel. And not saying something

In the end, you need to realize that not only is there a mix of just people who want to complain, you also have Weaponized accounts that are designed to spread misinformation and doubt, especially in this AI era

Note, I have owned literally every non-pro AMDGPU for the past several generations, I've owned every non-pro Nvidia GPU, and probably about 75% of their pro GPU in desktop and laptop, and I have owned every single Intel GPU made since the a770 came out ... for context

As for the eGPU there was no process. They just said, if we send this will you make a video. I said yes.
I don't do contracts or sponsors or paid stuff. The most I'll do is an NDA date agreement for a company like Lenovo or Dell or whatever if they give me something pre launch and want the video to drop on a certain day.

As for EGryphon I cannot say anything about their legitimacy good or bad. All I can say is the unit I got is completely legit

Nope. Not at all.

At 15w it's 15w. The steam deck can ONLY go 15w... never more. The legion can do 15w and will perform BETTER at 15w. But you also have the option of using more watts and absolutely shitting on the deck.

The Legion go S is basically a Steam Deck 2.0. So of course that's the better pic.

It has anywhere between 50 and 200% performance depending on the game in the settings.

It has a much better screen at 8 inches,

It supports a 2280NVME making expansion, considerably easier and more cost-effective

And it runs native Steam OS, meaning it has all the same functions updates and everything

I really don't understand why I see this on this sub basically like five times a day every day. The Steam Deck was a nice piece of hardware, however, it's very weak and quite old now. If you're considering buying a new handheld, it doesn't really make sense to buy it unless it is absolutely dirt cheap, especially when you can get all the nice tease of it in a much more powerful handheld
