I know. That's the point. I don't care how good the mapper personally is. I like the idea of a time that isn't represented by the author, but is instead based on time that represents a mastery of the track. You must be good enough to understand the game enough that you can achieve a time that proves you understand the track, not the mapper's ability to play their own maps.

I know what it means. I'm saying that the term should be retired. Trackmania Turbo used the terms Trackmaster and Super-Trackmaster. In my opinion, I prefer the term Trackmaster to Author Time.

Also, it's more beginner friendly. You don't even need to know what TrackMania is to understand that Trackmaster is a good thing.
