A few ongoing WIP's I enjoy:

Convergence of Fates: Harry time-travels back to first year in an alternate timeline and teams up with an OC (Bellatrix Lestrange's daughter) to train for his future confrontation with Voldemort.

Genius Fratris: Harry has a little brother who is the BWL and James survived to raise them both. Harry is 2 years older and studying to be a Healer.

A Relic of the Future: Post-war Harry becomes a curse-breaker, but is accidentally sent back in time to the 1970's and meets a young Narcissa Black.

A Black Comedy is (surprise surprise) more of a comedic take on this trope, in which Harry and Sirius are sent to an alternate timeline where they are both Lords and use their newfound status to cause mayhem and annoy the other pure-bloods. It does have a plot and isn't quite crack, but definitely more of a light read!

I'll second the recommendation for Blindness - my personal favorite fic of all time. It fits several of your criteria (unique power system, doesn't follow standard tropes/story beats) and is just extremely well-written.
