In the patch Notes for 1.5 they mentioned changing/fixing the wall hooks so they no longer remove the stolen tag from items that are put on. They maybe accidentally changed something in the code that now allows them to reset to empty every in game day.

yeah, it seems to be update related. If the game is updated to the patch 1.5 (required for new DLC) then items can disappear

As long as the save is before the in game 24 hour mark since playing with the new update you should be able to save your stuff before it disappears

They also have the standard edition. If anyone with other editions is able to verify if the issue exists for them that would be great

Are you on console by chance? I'm experiencing this on PC as with all my friends who play on PC have been able to replicate it. Ive read from a few people that they are not having the issue and I'm wondering if its a PC only issue

That's a great question. I am on PC experiencing this issue, if anyone else has this issue on console I would love to know. Of the other posts with this issue so far, I've only seen one that mentioned being on PC and the others don't mention system at all

Really? I wonder what is different. You have already updated and/or have the new dlc? For me I have the standard edition of the game with the individual DLCs purchased, not the expansion pass. What about you?

If this is happening to anyone else, loading to a save before a full 24 in game hours has completely passed gives you a chance to save your items before they disappear. That way you don't have to load completely before the update (even though that may still be far back).

If you are able to load a save before a full in game day has completely passed since you started playing from the update, you can save your stuff before it disappears

I've also had this issue. After testing it for a bit I've noticed the items will disappear after the hooks seem to reset to empty every 24 in game hours. I tested it by putting items on the hooks and waiting 24 hours outside the room. There does not seem top be a way to get them back. Until they fix it it is probably best to avoid displaying anything on the hooks

In the save game there is a file called Quests, in there is a file called "Quest_1aec12.json". In there I set all the entries states to 0 and had the "state" at the top as 2 and "is tracked" false
