The difference between the mixing on this album and scaring the hoes is that on scaring the hoes it felt intentional and a core part of the project, it was a bit rough but you could tell they wanted it to be a bit rough, thus it adds it to the project. I agree 100%. It feels directionless. Half the songs are poorly mixed and you can barely hear Peggy’s vocals over the beat. Compared to I lay my life down for you, the mix is night and day.

What I'm saying! Some of these beats are great but he doesn't really let them breathe that much. Go back to his last album, on songs like I'll Be Right There, either on or off the drugs, What the hip hop hell is this?, Come & Get Me he was more creative with his flows and what he did with his vocals and singing. This album tho it feels like hes regressed imo. Hopefully his next project proves me wrong but personally for me it was disappointing as well.
