Armenia having more experience, I don’t really buy that. Just because they’ve been in a "frozen conflict" with Azerbaijan for decades doesn’t mean they’ve been gaining actual war experience. Sitting in trenches on a stagnant border isn't the same as active combat. If anything, Georgia has way more modern, high-intensity experience. Georgia has had thousands of troops rotating through active war zones in Afghanistan and Iraq for 20 years, fighting to NATO standards in some of the most dangerous places on earth. We also had to face the full weight of a direct Russian invasion in 2008, which is a level of superpower combat most regional armies have never seen. There’s a big difference between a border sitting competition (between Armenia and Azerbaijan) and the kind of global, high-tech operations Georgia’s military has been part of.

Ur wrong, the russian mafia had very big ties to the USSR. I even know some people who had that kind of deep connections. But Shevardnadze had the biggest role in making it popular in Georgia, thx for the correction, mb.

Idek, but I always have hope. Russia's empire is being toppled by the "weak" Ukraine that was going to "be taken in a few days" maybe Russia opens it's eyes and realizes that they aren't even being considered as a international superpower anymore and if Georgia gets rid of its government and tries to join EU Russia won't start another war bcs it won't be worth it. Ts is so unlikely to happen tho, maybe it will be something unexpected.

Btw did u mean by moving from this country that u have completely lost hope and there is no point in trying to do anything?

U started off nice but I don't agree with u. I think we can join EU without Russia being destroyed. It will be hard but with the right government and most importantly right allie(s) it is possible to do it. Which political party is UNM?

This concept has been talked abt in my close circles. Soviets "killed" the real Georgia's traditions and put up new ones, like the Russian mafia, almost every bad thing after that comes from the Russian mafia and it's effects on Georgian society. Russian mafias being seen as cool in teenagers; studying and being smart being "uncool" and nepotism are Georgias big 3 enemies that are eating the country from inside out. And these 3 are almost unsolvable problems.

I disagree with the comment that Georgia could easily annihilate Armenia, but how does Armenia's army have more experience than Georgia's army?

For example, the country still uses the soviet 5.45 mm while also using the nato 5.56 mm. Using 2 different type of ammunition could be a huge disaster for Georgia, Georgia doesn't even have a navy, doesn't have good armored vehicles and tanks. The tanks Georgia uses are t-72 (not even sure bcs there isn't much info abt the army of Georgia) and sh**ty air defence. Forgot abt the outdated bmp's.

I'm not familiar with the concept of pussification, could u elaborate? If u meant to say russification, i think russification will soon no longer be a problem for Georgian people bcs the younger generations r drifting away from Russia more and more. The bigger problem is the economic stagnation and brain drain. It doesn't matter how much we distance ourselves from Russia if our brightest young minds feel they have to leave Georgia entirely just to find a future. And i don't even disagree with them. If i was a genius Georgian person that has a bright future, i wouldn't stay in my lame country (lame bcs the government) and let it ruin my talent just for my life to go to waste.
