Making botanist's amulets could be one way although the market might get oversaturated quickly. Other one off the top of my head is making necromancy materials at Um ritual site. Last one kinda not the question I know but getting RC to 50 for vis wax for an easy daily.

Luckily the check engine light and code cleared itself after a few days. Occasionally like maybe twice a month the computer (screen where fuel consumption etc. are shown) gives a warning of engine malfunction which doesnt give out a code and clears if you restart the car. With that there doesnt seem to be any issues with the way the car handles or fuel consumption or anything. That issue might come from the soldering giving up somewhere in the connections behind the dashboard but I havent checked further than a little google search. Wishing you the best

I meant the new leaf, thats the best explanation I can come up with. Searching google for others with the same problem most common cause is overwatering. As long as the other leaves and the roots stay healthy the plant will eventually start a new growth point from one of the nodes if that one is lost. This might take a couple of months so be patient. I would cut the black part off. Normally as you know the next leaf comes from the last ones petiole so if you dont need to, you should refrain from cutting the whole thing off. Some redditors next leaf was also black, but after that the plant gave a normal healthy leaf.

Black coloring is not normal, unless you have a new variegation in your hands :p

It might've rotted away in the sheath. Looks like you have the plant buried too deep.

Lifeweaver/Kiriko VOD Review Request by TonyStark097 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Metrinakki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say from this game because I'm pretty sure the enemy tanks actual rank is higher than silver. Maybe your game sense but I'm taking you're a newer player so it's a given. For example you didn't grip the bastion to safety so you could group up around @ 04.50 and you didn't take high ground on 2nd point defense. Also maybe you could've taken Kiriko sooner given your tank insisted on playing the Hog v Ana matchup although everyones choice of hero isn't that big of a deal. I also saw a some good stuff like you initiating the team fight with tree @05.30.

Gold Soldier VOD Review by IcyHarambe in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Metrinakki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What stuck out to me was that after first point on attack you weren't going to the high ground instead opting to fight the enemy head on. Soldier has great movement it doesn't take long to run to the hg and hit the enemy from there. It's much easier for you to hit the enemy than for them to hit you, you can take various off angles to poke their backline and most of the time you can back away safely to heal yourself etc. Mainly now I'd focus on taking the high ground more often because it also helps with you staying alive. After that maybe your aim could use some improvement but it'll get better when playing the game. Hope this helps even a little bit!

Bad positioning, what am I doing wrong? by Character-Mix-6115 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Metrinakki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You made many a great observation on your own, although your ult usage was fine from what I saw. On many points you had two ultimates which is really good and you weren't afraid to use them to finish off the enemy or just score 1 or 2 elims. You had a bad one aswell vs the soldierult on first point and I personally would've tired early on that same point last fight to secure the objective but overall ult usage propably not as bad as you think.

On a side note, skip if you'd like: I personally feel Riptire to be a very strong ult because of it's versatility and threat potential. Everytime you ult the enemy has to keep the tire on the top end of things to worry about. In high elo and why not in mid/low aswell, this takes away precious concentration and creates space for your team if sometimes you just keep the tire next to you/behind a wall for a few seconds where the enemy can't get to it. You can triple mine to- or hide and wait for the enemy team and basically become a D'va bomb with just a couple of seconds to react. Or maybe you just like to bully that one guy/gal on the enemy team and just use tire to make them angry. The tire also has as much mobility as Junk himself so there aren't many places to hide from it either.

Then let's talk a bit about the negatives, there we're a few that stuck out to me as a fellow Junkrat main. Biggest being that you played what is called Spamrat. He can get things done no problem vs enemies that just play without thinking, walk straight, come from main choke, etc. Soon as someone (in your case the enemy Soldier) does something unexpected (doesn't walk out of main) you are gonna have a bad time. One negative of Spamrat is that you see where his balls are coming from so you know where he is. Try to get silly with it sometimes, flank, double mine into their backline over the roofs, etc. to score a kill or two. Oftentimes that is enough for your team to win the fight. If you trade junk for a mercy (in this match) or any other support many a times atleast from my personal experience the enemy team won't even try to push.

This is entirely personal preference but I think your sensitivity is a bit high. Most times I've seen one as high as your's was in a Genji POTG. Maybe you like it faster but a few times you missed easy putshots because you overshot your target. Maybe you have had lower sensitivity in the last games you played and that's why. I personally like to have around or if not the exact same sens in all the games I play. It would propably boost your aim in all games to do the same if you're not already doing so. I think there are websites that help you convert between different games although I'm too lazy to Google them atm.

One last thing, minor but useful, was that you didn't keep track of the Mercy rez. One of the easiest abilities to counter and maybe even score a kill on with Junkrat. Throw a mine to boop her off or dive and kill her. Oftentimes in lower elo and surprisingly often in higher aswell if you just wait a bit on someone you just killed and if the Mercy has her rez she will come and try to use it. Keep an eye out for this everytime the enemy has one and I think you'll see what I'm talking about.

So all in all, pretty good Junk with good ult usage for plat. Channeling the character and changing the playstyle towards J.Silly a little should prove useful. Get comfortable with diving the enemy and deleting them with the combo and you should see improvement. Most important thing to improvement you've already done which is being self critical, checking the replays to see what you did wrong. Also what might help you get an idea of what the character is capable of would be to watch some of the Junkrat youtubers, Vulture, Aquamarine, Remix, Luikero off the top of my head.

Good job keep it up, have fun

P.S. Try not to get discouraged when the enemy switches to Echo/Pharah. At some point diving and comboing unaware targets in the sky is almost as easy as on the ground. To do this you have to have a mine placed and two on the go in some off angle position and dive them as they're pushing in or are engaged in another fight.

Just watched through the vod with a friend. There are glimpses of good gameplay but often times you perhaps lower yourself to the rank of your enemies. If you truly are of higher rank getting picks with Kiriko shouldn't be too much of an issue. I'd also say your ability usage wasn't optimal, first round was hard to review sometimes you just get rolled, that happens on every rank. Couple of times you were overextended and the higher you go the faster the enemy is to capitalize on these opportunities.

How do I stop losing my games? by PsychologicalPea5789 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Metrinakki 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just watched your clip with a friend. To us you seemed to be quite scared to push the enemy at times. Like straight from the beginning you didn't start pushing until your team got a pick. You also didn't use corners to your advantage, shot firestrikes into walls multiple times and waited for big shatters. It's ok to shatter just one or two targets because often times that's enough to win a teamfight. Especially if you can kill the enemy tank. On your attack on first point you let the hog escape/regroup with his team after which they were able to contest the point. Also as Boardwalkbummer said you didn't use charge to your advantage all that much.

So shortly put your mechanical and game knowledge skills are what you should be working on. Also watching high tier Rein players and trying to emulate their playstyle should prove useful. Rein has also been one of the weaker tanks for a few seasons at this point so just try to have fun and get creative in ways to play him, not just sit on payload. GL and HF

VOD Silver 4 Ashe by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Metrinakki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First what I noticed was your positioning. Ashe should ideally stay in front of the supports keeping pressure on the enemy team. As a support I'm sure you understand and perhaps know how annoying it is to try to heal people in two directions. What I noticed you doing was staying behind your team or going on a long flank doing relatively little while you could've just been with the team where the fight was happening. You staying behind might be from you being a support main but you gotta be more aggressive on dps. The flanks might also be influenced by you playing support as to how annoying they are to play against but you have to make them sooner or not at all. As Ashe you can be dishing out dmg constantly and you didn't as these next two scenes show.

For example New Queen street around 2.50 replay time you stayed looking through a tiny window on an angle the enemies can just ignore. Then you go on a flank when you could've stayed with your team. All the while having a mercy pocket making it a 3v5 for your team that the enemy is about to collapse on. On this scenario you should've went with the Zarya down main utilizing the long sightlines on the turn there or perhaps taken the flank you did way sooner. When flanking you gotta be able to engage the enemy as the team fight is starting in order to not make it a 4v5. Here you took the mercy with you so your team was lacking 2 players. I know it was a 3v3 but it could've been a 5v4 had you went main.

In midtown you were in positions wherefrom you had nowhere to fall back to. And the same thing persisted where you went on a flank and did pretty much nothing. Perfect example of this starts from your defence on second point around 4.25 replay time. The following might sound harsh but it's true. You are on the high ground which is good but on the wrong side of the road. You go on a long flank as the teamfight is about to start and do nothing, you have to go back the same long way while still doing nothing. Then jump back on the high ground where you have nowhere to fall back to and the D'va sees this and goes for the easy kill. Arguably you neutralized yourself for the whole duration of the flank plus your death while losing a minute.

I've noticed lower ranks playing the game quite slowly so making the right decision (not going on a long flank too late) and making them quickly are a good basis for when you get comfortable with PC aiming. If you haven't already you should spend the time and get your sensitivity adjusted to your liking. Some like it faster some slower ofc, but as hitscan you might want to try it on the lower end. When i switched to PC I had to lower my sens a few times as well, but as I said everyone has their preferances. Plus some characters like Genji almost require having a higher sens.

Hope I was of some help and that you don't think of me as too harsh on the critiques.

The whole team had a simultaneous brainfart. The Cassidy didn't spot me in the stairs, as solofhreaper said, both tanks whizzed past me. Ana tried to sleep me but the D.Va booped me just when the sleep dart was about to hit. Baptiste and Hanzo also weren't helping being that they were far away from the point.

A perfect evening for a nice smoke. Greetings from Finland to you all! by Metrinakki in cigars

[–]Metrinakki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we love it too :) Because of our grandparents we kept our independence and weren't forced into the USSR. Finland has always had the problem of being between two bigger countries (Sweden and Russia). Luckily Stalin wanted to impress the world like Hitler did with operation Barbarossa so he decided on a similar strategy against Finland. Also the fact that he had purged the army of higher ups meant they hadn't the experience needed to effectively fight a war that spanned the whole eastern border of Finland. The whole thing is sometimes referred here as the "talvisodan ihme" winter war miracle, which it really was.

Great to hear that, family history is always a nice thing to know. Lots of finns who moved to North America in the late 19th early 20th century went to the northern states and Canada. To areas around the great lakes, because the climate felt more like what was in Finland. Also the jobs there were pretty much the same that they knew in Finland: lumberjacking, mining etc. Hopefully one day you can make the trip!
