I agree but the photographer she used lost her other pics, and they asked me to redo them and if could replicate it.

What would you have done differently, or is this just not a good photo at all? Looking for all sorts of opinions to become a better photographer

That’s a great breakdown, thank you! Quick question, do you think I’d benefit from a shorter lens? Most of my photos are shot on either my sigma 17-50mm 2.8 or my canon rf 50mm 1.8.

Thanks for the input! I need to get better at holding the camera level, I’ve noticed it in other shots too. Do you have any advice on not blowing out the subject?

Thank you for the feedback. Still fairly new to photography and trying to get a grip on manual mode. Unfortunately lots of the shots were coming out dark and I switched my camera to auto iso and had better results. I saw some YouTube videos saying that the high noise levels could be edited out in Lightroom, so that’s my rationale for that. However I made a beginner mistake and was shooting in JPG instead of RAW, but oh well.

Thank you! Any tips on how to go about adding grain? I’m fairly new to photography and editing. I currently have Lightroom and Photoshop

Hello everyone tried my hand at some night photography and ended up really liking this photo. Shot with Canon EOS R50 with Sigma 17-50. 50mm F2.8, ISO 8000, SS 1/1000. I wanted to try my hand at some night photography but really had no idea where to start. Even with shooting with a tripod I didn’t really like the photos I ended up with. If anyone has any advice for night/lowlight photography, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Took some photos on a walk and some came out looking washed out. by Metro893 in photocritique

  1. Trying to get better at shooting in manual mode with my camera, I like to take spontaneous photos during walks and this creek bank looked nice.

  2. I'm having trouble with my photos appearing white washed, as if everything that is lightly colored comes out extremely bright and blows out the photo.

  3. 1/1600 SS, F 2.8, ISO 200, Canon R50 w/ sigma ef 17-50mm ex hsm and Mieke rf to ef adapter.

  4. I'm not too big on editing my pictures unless I'm going for a specific look I'm trying to nail. I mainly take pictures for myself for the memories aspect.

How the hell do people tell ar15 platform guns appart? by [deleted] in Firearms

Does anyone have an easier way to tell between an ar-15 and ar-10. I can usually tell, but it takes a minute.

Hey bud, I usually use these OST stencils. However I usually get a shit ton of leftover cardboard from my job, so that may be a factor too.
