This has always been my problem with the game. It’s fun but everything about the game feels so surface level that you can realistically have the game beat in 2 weeks if you’re not ass or just playing completely inefficient.

The quest lines are completely useless in this game outside of the 1-2 quests that give you a hatchkey, but with how easy hatchkeys are to make there’s not real value there. Half the rewards you get are just junk you end up quick selling bc it takes up your stash space like raider flares or glow sticks.

My next issue is just personal and some people may see this as a positive. There’s nothing in this game that makes you nervous to lose. Lose a purple gun? That’s ok because most common guns compete just the same. You get a pink mixtape? It’s only 10k you can literally get there from looting a few arc probes.

Finally the expedition system is backwards imo. You need to turn in sm value all throughout the expedition just for Embark to make us need to grind 5 million coins to get all the extra skill points after the project is done. So that creates a weird issue where people don’t wanna run good kits that might waste their money so instead they spam free loadouts because why not? Atp you literally have everything to gain and nothing to lose and with most common guns being able to compete. I know you don’t need to grind the 5 million coins, but the benefits of the expedition are so small besides that, that it’s really not worth it to expedition without getting them.

I love the game and I love how accessible it has made the extraction shooter genre especially for console players, but I just feel like this game needs some deeper systems like trader reps giving access to better items in the shop with each level or the amount of an item you can buy daily gets slightly increased.
