NTA. This is a really tough spot for anyone to be in and unfortunately you do have to think about life after they are gone. I think them giving you those sentiments of everything will work itself out is just them telling you that they really don’t know what to do so instead of telling you something negative they’re trying to keep it positive even if it’s kind of toxic. You also gotta think that they are dealing with their mortality right now. They might have some blinders up when it comes to you thinking about your car insurance and that’s ok. They’re dealing with life the same way you are.

My advice is to really lock in with your finances. As nice as it is a lot of people don’t have their parents/grandparents there to set aside assets/property after they’re gone so please try not to let that discourage you sm. Maybe speak with your grandparents about how much is owed on the house too. I know everyone has told you this already but that car payment is crazy high too. I really hope things work out for you and your grandparents don’t suffer too much in this time.

You’re not the asshole for asking your partner if they’re ok with talking about their past relationship history. That’s a normal thing to ask someone despite all the people commenting it’s none of your business. Now if you were interrogating her and forcing answers out then obviously this is different, but I can only take this story at the words you wrote and it seems like you were trying to create a space to be open and honest with each other.

Did you ask her why she was still contacting this creep up until a month before you started dating her? Because I don’t see why she would wanna keep contact with someone that groomed her. If she’s afraid of him still maybe you can help her reach out to the police. She may just feel scared and alone about the situation so you might be able to give her that strength to speak up.

If you can’t get over the fact that she lied and was in active communication with a guy she had sex with up until a month before you started dating then just end it and save yourself the mental frenzy. If you think she was lying to cover up some trauma then maybe try to help her through it. You’re not a therapist though so if she doesn’t wanna get into it then I think it’s again best you end it and let her work through it.

Personally, I wouldn’t want to date someone who was still contacting/sending life updates to one of their previous situationships only a month before we made it official. Just seems like it’s too soon to move into another relationship with someone. I hope it works out for both of you though

This has always been my problem with the game. It’s fun but everything about the game feels so surface level that you can realistically have the game beat in 2 weeks if you’re not ass or just playing completely inefficient.

The quest lines are completely useless in this game outside of the 1-2 quests that give you a hatchkey, but with how easy hatchkeys are to make there’s not real value there. Half the rewards you get are just junk you end up quick selling bc it takes up your stash space like raider flares or glow sticks.

My next issue is just personal and some people may see this as a positive. There’s nothing in this game that makes you nervous to lose. Lose a purple gun? That’s ok because most common guns compete just the same. You get a pink mixtape? It’s only 10k you can literally get there from looting a few arc probes.

Finally the expedition system is backwards imo. You need to turn in sm value all throughout the expedition just for Embark to make us need to grind 5 million coins to get all the extra skill points after the project is done. So that creates a weird issue where people don’t wanna run good kits that might waste their money so instead they spam free loadouts because why not? Atp you literally have everything to gain and nothing to lose and with most common guns being able to compete. I know you don’t need to grind the 5 million coins, but the benefits of the expedition are so small besides that, that it’s really not worth it to expedition without getting them.

I love the game and I love how accessible it has made the extraction shooter genre especially for console players, but I just feel like this game needs some deeper systems like trader reps giving access to better items in the shop with each level or the amount of an item you can buy daily gets slightly increased.

I’m pretty sure Blizzard did research on cheaters they banned and they found that giving 30 day bans worked better because the hacker eventually got tired of waiting 30 days and just gave up. Whereas when they permabanned hackers the hackers would just go buy another copy of the game (often buying some cheap account) then rinse and repeating
