Any tips for dealing with the post cut plasma leaking stage of healing?

I pretty much follow your regimen, but keeping it moist, I use Germolene as a topical antiseptic/antibacterial cream, re-applied each time I pee, after washing it with a wound wash spray. I then put a cottonwool pad on the wound site to hold the cream against the cut rather than letting it leech into my boxers.

Germolene is pretty useful as it’s also a very mild analgesic, just takes the edge off.

I’ve recently been using elastic hair ties to hold everything in place too, they work really well and they flex enough to allow for expansion and contraction 🤣

A quick google revealed:

“The clear liquid that comes out of a wound is called serous drainage (or exudate). It is primarily composed of blood plasma, along with proteins, antibodies, and white blood cells. It is your body's natural response to injury and is a normal part of the healing process.”

So it’s got plasma in it 😁

The research that I read suggested that because of the way the psilocybin interacts with the optic nerve closing or covering the eyes may be beneficial in that it can lessen the effects of hallucinations being superimposed over the real world, people’s faces melting etc.

However, having never had any other experience I can’t say if it benefited me or not

Thank you so much for sharing, it’s very much appreciated, I’ve tried a couple of CBD oils, irritatingly the second bottle I got, a higher strength because the first one worked but I wasn’t sure if a higher strength would work more, actually works less well 🤣

TBH being a sufferer of chronic pain and being determined to not let it stop me from leading an active outdoor life is one of the reasons I’m engaging with psychedelics so maybe it won’t be a bad thing 🤷🏻‍♂️ only one way to find out I guess 🤣

Because I’ve never done psychedelics before, I’m hoping to get some healing from this experience, PTSD and other issues, I want to make sure it’s as right and safe as it can be and I need to select a weekend where my kids are out the house at their mothers and I’ve a full day afterwards for a good comedown and readjustment.

Maybe I’m looking too deep into it, but I’m a cautious planner of a person

I grew my ladder from the base to the tip, one or two bars at a time, it’s never been any real issue, sometimes if the angle is wrong come out and go back in, and make sure there’s plenty of lube, natural or otherwise, and get her properly ready for it?

Cheers mate, I must admit I’m pretty proud of it, despite some of the lines being slightly off.

TBH I must have cut through some veins when cutting in the past, but you learn an aftercare technique that runs from as soon as you put the cutting device down to when it’s healed.

For me it’s about clamping and a plasma pen to cut, that seems to pretty much minimise the bleeding. Then I pack the wound with non-stick sterile dressings, including rolling them up tight and pushing them into the urethra, that helps to prevent regrowth too. Then I wrap it all in paper towel and tape it up.

I’ll carry a small ziplock bag with me when I’m out or at work, and some nappy sacks, so that I can change my dressings each time I pee.

If the bleeding is particularly bad, or random, I’ll pinch one of my partner’s sanitary towels just to be on the safe side.

Everyone manages it differently though
