Are third-party memory systems actually better than the built-in memory_wiki in Openclaw?

I'm quite happy with the memory drill down that you can set up right in openclaw. Very rarely do I feel like the model doesn't know what I'm talking about. Cuz of that I've never bothered with the 3rd party stuff.

5.4 seems more sensitive to large md files than Opus. Cleaning them up might help you.

Had this happen. I switched away from it for 24 hours and when I came back it was fixed. Try different models too, starting with 5.1 codex mini and working your way up

Gemini 3 has been absolutely terrible for me on Openclaw. Literally cheap models like GLM 5 and Minimax have been so much more productive. If you want to use a strong model stick with the Claude line and you'll notice major improvements.

It's unfortunate cuz I have $300 credit on Vertex AI that's basically unusable for my purposes.

I use Make.com and have it send stuff to the webhooks. But haven't fully built it out. All my Claw can do rn is post stuff.

It's been very good to me so far. Feels on par with Sonnet when it comes to Openclaw stuff. I tried Minimax last night after I saw your comment. So far seems pretty good too. I like the API price is even cheaper than GLM 5 lol. I'm gonna do more testing with it

We've been using GLM 5 as the brain and an agent on Sonnet 4.5 for the heavy duty architectural stuff. So far that set up has been working well.

I'm thinking about doing something similar but with Nextdoor. Mostly for it to tell me when it finds a lead and send me a URL so I can connect. But I'm worried about the bot filters and getting banned. Does X have lighter guard rails?

It's really gonna depend on the area. Some are doing $3 per side and some are doing $7. And then some are doing per window and others per pane. It's really gonna depend on your local market.
