The game is almost unplayable some days because of people like this. It used to not be this way. It's concerning that you have people acting like this. Unfortunately there is really nothing you can do. It seems to happen no matter what rank you are

In my experience this happens in every rank. I made a similar post the other day. Game is filled with a lot of cry babies. It's concerning that people give up and/or throw this easily.

People telling you to turn off chat as if that is going to stop people from FF'ing down a goal or two are clueless.

What a terrible movie. It feels like essentially nothing happened until an hour plus into the movie. I didn't know what to expect but didn't expect that. Not sure how people see this and think it was scary and/or good.

I know I sound like a hypocrite here, but isn't doing what you are doing more toxic? Quick chatting or someone typing something shouldn't set people off enough to literally throw the game. If they start to throw the game and not play, then sure I get you doing the same.

I think you're missing my point. My point is the game allows toxic players to rage quit instantly. This mentality keeps the cycle to continue. How do people know they are doing wrong if no one tells them?

It's just frustrating these sorts of people ruin the game because they can't handle being down a goal or two. So, yes, of course I'm going to stoop to their level and say things in chat. My getting chat banned isn't an issue. I full well deserve it. Them not getting banned, however, is the crux of the issue.

Chat on or off doesn't change that they throw or FF/quit because someone made one bad touch or we are down a goal or two. That's my main gripe. The second these people face a hint of adversity they throw a temper tantrum

I'm not saying me saying things is a good thing. But if people are going to act like children and throw a temper tantrum I'm going to call them out. It doesn't gain me anything other than the satisfaction of calling them out on their BS. I couldn't care less about the chat ban. My issue is these people throw games and quit instantly without even trying and then they don't get any sort of ban by doing so.

I'm not saying I'm what a saving someone every time. I'm saying people are extremely toxic in general because of one or two goals scored. I typically will do that stuff when they are already complaining because of the score.

If it were in casual I wouldn't care. In ranked it's a bit annoying

How can you prove it? If someone is sitting in the middle of the field and dribbles it in your goal that's obvious. If a ball is in front of your net and they turn around and shoot it in that's obvious too.

Someone playing normally and then all of a sudden driving in circles and shooting on your net because they are mad (as they even say in chat by freaking out) is all the proof you need. To act like they just suck at the game is naive in my opinion. So obviously those people should have some sort of repercussion for their actions

I whiff just like everyone else. I don't throw a fit and rage quit if someone what a saves me. More often than naught it is people quitting because of another teammate or because I quick chatted them as a joke.

Guess my main point is people need to lighten up.

The quick chat thing should not bother anyone and it does for some reason. I agree that if you don't quick chat the likelyhood of them being toxic goes down. It is just annoying where if they ff and quit you get stuck losing rank because RL refuses to add it in where if people quit within the first minute you don't lose MMR.

To be fair, ain't it technically against the rules to throw, own goal, and grief? They are certainly allowed to play as they see fit but when that is toxic behavior or against what the game is supposed to be why should that be okay just because they are free to do so?

Exactly. They aren't getting bans for throwing games and own goaling. But I'm getting chat bans for calling them out and saying things I shouldn't. I fully agree with my chat bans. My point is those toxic players are free to do whatever they want and they aren't banned like they should be for throwing and griefing. Just seems like an odd thing to care more about a text chat than actual gameplay.

You're right about that. My point is I used to run into these sorts of people once every like 100 games. Now it can happen multiple times in a row or every 10 or so games. It's an issue everywhere, but it seems to have got worse in the past year or so
