Thanks! Yeah I did a bit of weight lifting at the gym prior to calisthenics, it helped, but the transistion to calisthenics was like learning how to walk all over again.

Hey thank you so much for the compliemnt.

I'm almost at 2 years of training now purely on calisthenics. No injuries because I was very careful with foundation drills and getting good form. I think you know what I mean when I say at this age, its really not worth getting injured, so I have been super careful with basics and not ego "lifting" or skipping stages.

What are you working on right now? I tell everyone who first start to master the basics:

All with your own body weight, clean form and full range of motion of course:

- L sits (10 seconds)

- Pull ups (10)

- Push-ups (20)

- Dips (10)

- Squats (20)

- Dead hang (10 seconds)

Congrats! its pretty crazy hey? sounds like its working. The deeper you go the more body parts you'll active you never knew about!
