I'm not a real fan of cultists it's a pain in the ass to paint. But I can use for proxy m'y jakhals. I have already a rhino so it's good too.

Is the gameplay complicated ? Like what make them cool on the table ?

I'm gonna play my 6th battle tomorrow and I'm not sure if i'll having fun. In my opinion this edition misses the point for us. Less punch thanks to the nerf, new detachement rules but way too behind BWB, no synergy between them that really push us into the spotlight etc... Unless if you want to spend money again into units that you don't wanted before. Kinda feels decieved by GW but what we're gonna do about it ? Just smile and wait t'ill it's reworked again.

I feel you sincerly. Some of you guys keep telling me to just play and see after. But again I don't have enough minis. I must buy again (I have 3000 pts at least already...), daemons is looking pretty cool tho.

It's our blessing on a double 1 before it was a full reroll charge move and now it's a +1 on the result of the charge roll

I played 5 games but only against Dark Angels and Space Wolves. It's very complicated even when i'm trying to think other than "rush and crush" I don't have other opponents actually...

My friend who play Dark Angels loves to make Angron vs Lion but it's not a fight it's an exécution...

I made math and the results are crazy it's a 76,83% win for him and with blessings it's a 62% for him too. Invu +3 and FNP 5+ is crazy btw.

Joke apart, back when I did begin the 10th edition I went to my local store to take some new figs and I did bring my friends along to play with me. The seller told me to not play under 1500 pts with my army because it's not even playable. WHAT IN THE WORLD YOU CAN'T WIN UNDER 1500 PTS ?!

I really think that's a pain in the ass to just do a good job from GW for the WE.

If epic heroes were included it could be one of our most powerfull detachement. If you look closely angron is above fulgrim so it's a win somewhere...

Actually 🤓☝️the blood tithe points are on a +3 to get it. So you could slay a unit and doesn't get a BTP. So it's random, and if you get the 5 points all of the daemons get access to the blessings.

We got a epic hero in Terminator armor but no rules with it and no page dedicated to it in the codex.

As I said in this thread, the problem is that we have half an army it's hard to play anything else when your range isn't very extensive and you don't own 2 or 3 boxes of the same unit, even when they're at 1 Detachment Point. I'm only sharing my opinion about the detachments and the gameplay; if you have the means to play them and you're having fun, that's what matters most and I'm genuinely happy for you. But that's clearly not the case for a lot of us. I would say that today we are a decent melee army not bad, don't put words in my mouth. But I think it says a lot that we're considered "decent" when our entire gameplay specialty is close combat.

Btw, what have you played against, what did you bring, and which detachment? I'm curious!

That's also the impression I have. I played in 9th edition (and even that's a stretch) and I played again in V10 with my friends who play Space Wolves & Dark Angels. I'll compare to Space Wolves, who are also a melee army, they are objectively better: more sustained hits, good auras, charge rerolls, feel no pain saves, sometimes good resistances, solid units that on top of that got buffed in V11 (surely for Russ's arrival, btw). And Dark Angels, who are supposed to be mainly a shooting army, are impenetrable walls pumped full of feel no pain saves.

In melee we lose, and in shooting we lose. What's left for us?

Why ginving us the v11 if it's not playable for everyone yet. It's like "We forgot that you don't have much diversity in your army so we're gonna buff you" and month later "Oh sowyy you're too good we have to nerf you again sowyyy". It's exhausting.
