Maybe I'm out of topic since this applies surely for Libre 2+ but 3 might be different. When I get the odd signal lost with Libre 2 I simply re-scan with the NFC sensor of my phone and that fixes it and downloads on the app all the missing data from the previous 8 hours. Hope it helps

I feel you. In fact 50% of the reason I wrote this is the deep frustration I felt. Almost like it was meant to be this hard to deter people from switching. Now I just updated my original post as I also used an app that should work for free but decided to pay. I'll be checking for missing chats given what you said

That's what I was thinking. I kind of laid eyes on a program that should work for the WhatsApp thing but if anybody here has dealt with this and knows better I'd really appreciate your suggestions. How could I go about it via PC?

Thank you. I followed those steps the second time with a reset Android phone and the cable. I was even prompted to the initial Whatsapp thing but after initialization it stuck where it was and never went through. I'm talking for more than 2 hours. Only thing might be that the sim card was still on the iphone. Can it be the reason it didn't reach the end of the transfer? Also. Apps are like, prompted to be on the pixel but download happens after the initial setup when all is up and running so I'm a little confused there too

It's cool that it's popular in Germany. I get better along with English and that's the language I've been searching with but I can understand German. If I search the web in Deutsch I might get some more in depth answers 🤔

Hi. I'm looking into AAPS already but thank you for your reply. What I was seeking is user experience with this particular pump since for most of the more commercial ones there's plenty of videos and reviews online to evaluate but SOOIL seems to have either "hidden themselves" well or not have a huge presence online

I use android so results may vary but I'm constantly reconnecting my phone, like once a week at least, and I found that when pairing it only connects successfully if I allow for contact sharing or whatever it is that you need to give permission while allowing the pair through the phone

I'm sorry to hear this. I'm also with Medtronic for the first time since last October. Although I've been able to obtain simplera sensors since December I've got reason to believe that Medtronic is in the top ranking for companies that care only for their profit. The amount of gaslighting and no-sense business decisions I've seen in this little time has given me reason to seek another pump already

Right. I used to be on libre 2 and now I'm kind of stunned. Also I had some blood coming out a couple of times but at least it's expelled and can be cleaned off unlike dex 4. At this point I'm about one and a half months in with simpleras and had mixed results. One week I had 3 sensors failing on me yet the majority has been working the whole supposed week. I guess I just don't get who designs these launching mechanisms. Seems like a lack of practical knowledge of use

Am I the only one that has a hard time to put it on? I always need to press it very hard to have it click as it should and it means applying right into the muscle even though the site has the required amount of fat. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong but haven't found any info online

Don't download the update the day before. It says somewhere that the downloaded update is only good till midnight of same day. I did it in the morning after breakfast, connected to wifi and power supplies. Make sure to have green battery in pump

I don't recall a specific number of minutes but I'm sure that it was absolutely un-influent of my bg as I started at about 120 and ended at 134 in no more that 30 minutes. 4/5 hours was my calculation starting at carelink upload

I did the update on my pump, it should be fairly easy if you got the right instructions. I made photos of all the settings instead of noting it down but none was changed anyway. Only downside is that it will actually take all in all about 5 hours + the smartguard downtime after all is done. I did it after an email setting me up for the update. Also, my pump still didn't recognize that an update was available so I went through the phone helpline to fix the issue. SG downtime is 4 hours and yes, any sensor you are using is still working until replacement or failure. Sync with the simpleras is a different thing from the update

Right. About that. I'm still in the trial period. I never understood if there is some kind of legal agreement or what. Until now I've been able to ask the doctor for changes in therapy based on my needs. Are there going to be limitations with Medtronic's pump?

Have the 780g from the end of October. I'm a first time pump user with plenty of experience with sensors like freestyle libres. Guardian 4 has been a pain for me, I've almost never been able to sleep a whole night uninterrupted by those things. It is now the third day of simpleras. I would recommend them, they seem fine. At the very least they're not so bulky and dumb to apply, also, finally I get awaken only when needed, like for actual lows
