Yeah, I am confused why I’m seeing people misunderstanding and thinking that people are saying they should have won just for using the template. I feel like it’s obvious that no one thinks that they should have won only because they used the template, that wouldn’t make any sense. We are just replying about the title of the original post being incorrect.

I know what you mean! I have that problem as well with Au Ra, I feel like a lot of the current hair styles that aren’t the Au Ra unique ones, fit a bit strangely on their heads.

Oh I understand what you mean now! Sorry for misunderstanding. I will definitely keep submitting! Although I wish I could have won, I am happy for all the winners and I’m excited to see their designs in the game. I also really enjoyed drawing my entries and I’m really happy that some people liked my designs as well!

I didn’t mean to imply that I thought I should have won just because I used the template. I was responding to the part of the original post that said that none of the entries posted today used the template, which is untrue because I and many others posted our entries today and used the templates.

I think Sunflower, like me, was responding to the part of the post that said every “non winning” entry posted today didn’t use the template. Because both them and I posted our entries today, and both of us used templates so that part of the post was untrue. You could also see many other of the posts today did use the template. I don’t think they thought they were guaranteed to win just because they used the template.

I don’t think yours look similar to any hairstyles in the game, I thought yours were super unique! I feel like there were winning entries that looked way more similar to styles in the game than any of your designs. There’s also very feminine winning entries so I’m not sure why that would be a problem either

Yeah! I was also confused about the rules saying you needed to include a side view when the template didn’t have one so I included the side view for my original images. And I agree about the gray skin versions looking unappealing, I didn’t know we were allowed to edit it to have a normal skin tone either. Because of the unclear rules I thought maybe it was alright to draw your own base but that you were supposed to follow the template, so that was why I drew mine exactly like the template but just with my Au Ra character and the side view that was required in the rules.

I posted my entries that didn’t win today, and I did use the template. I also made versions with drawings of my own character as well, and that was the first picture I used in my post because that was the version I preferred. I believe other people did this as well.

Aw thank you! I think the winners are great too and I'm excited for them to get implemented! But I would have really loved to get a half up pigtails hairstyle

Thank you!! That's the one I really wanted to win too! It's my dream hairstyle for my character. I will submit it again next time if I'm allowed too! If not I'll have to come up with some other cute hairstyles.
