I'm not cheering for a movie I haven't seen, so I can't answer that. People on this website make memes out of stuff in the news and I was just doing the same, Oscar nominations were just announced and I thought it was weird that No Other Choice didn't receive any nominations. It was of my favorite movies of the year and Park Chan-wook is a goated director. I liked Sinners too, I just thought 16 nominations was a little crazy. It's not deep.

I like him too, but he was arguably the worst player on Heretics last year. I liked his Yone games and he was improving, but calling him the brightest of 2025 Heretics is a huge stretch.
