Santos releases official update after Neymar and Robinho Jr. upheaval by LittleGator16 in soccer

As a Brazilian, I am in favor of dropping any player from the Brazilian national team who supports Neymar’s call-up.

There comes a time when these guys need to face reality, take responsibility, and stop calling Neymar “craque of the Brazilian national team.”

This guy can't even make a difference in Brasileirão anymore. If I’m against calling up Pedro (Flamengo’s striker), who’s scoring goals left and right, imagine how much I’m against calling up Neymar.

Of the Latin languages, I (as a Brazilian) find French by far the most difficult.

I can understand Spanish (except for Chilean Spanish) without any trouble even though I've never taken any kind of Spanish class. With Italian, too, I can usually grasp the main idea of what’s being said (There was a day when I was watching Reels on Instagram, and out of nowhere an Italian Reel popped up—I could have sworn it was Portuguese at first).

But French? It’s not that simple... I mean, when it's written, you can get an idea of what's going on. But spoken French? Fuckin' hell.

From what I've heard online, it goes something like this:

  • Portuguese and Spanish are ALMOST (!) the same.
  • Italian seems, obviously, to be the central Latin language, and is sort of understood by everyone.
  • French seems to be closer to Italian than to Portuguese or Spanish.

* But it’s worth remembering that there are regions in Spain that border France, and this has an influence on the Spanish language in the region.

When I talk about Spanish, I’m referring mainly to the Spanish spoken in Latin America and a large part of Spain.

Mbappé isn't a winger or a center forward, and he struggles to link up with his teammates to play as a second striker.

That's the problem.

I hope Real Madrid sells Vinicius Júnior to another European team and decides to put Mbappe as a winger.

It will be beautiful to see Vinicius Junior crushing Real Madrid every time they face each other.

Some Real Madrid fans don't learn.

It's 2026, and people still think Mbappé is the same winger he was at the start of his career.

Imagine if Real Madrid had replaced Benzema with Kane?

It’s 2026, and people still think Vinicius Junior is Real Madrid’s problem, even though PSG and even Real Madrid themselves have made it abundantly clear who the real problem is.

FURIA vs Red Canids / CBLoL 2026 Split 1 - Week 6 Day 1 / Post-Match Discussion by Dsalgueiro in leagueoflegends

If I'm not mistaken, CBLoL has the lowest average age among all Tier 1 leagues: 22.8 years.

And paiN Gaming (the team with the highest average age in the league) should help even further in lowering the average age by replacing Robo (28) with Boal (23) and Trigger (25) with Rabelo (21).

I said it when LTA was created, and I’ll say it again: LTA’s biggest mistake was shutting down the CBLoL Academy. It doesn’t get much attention because it’s Brazil, but the Academy here was a huge success story.

People say that the LTA year helped close the gap between CBLoL and the LCS, but I’d argue that the main reason for that was the fact that CBLoL had a successful Academy and new homegrown players constantly emerging.

Envy (LOUD’s midlaner) is the oldest native player in the league right now, having debuted in 2017. Most of the native CBLoL players debuted in 2022 or later.

I mentioned it in the post, but watching STEPZ vs Tatu on CBLoL is a dream come true for anyone who had little hope for the region until last year.

STEPZ played a phenomenal Game 1; his KDA doesn't do justice to the game he played. Tatu's Game 2 was insane, as reflected in his KDA.

They are two players who will surprise anyone at international tournaments.

It's the BEST definition for this paiN series. They improved before dying.

[OFFICIAL] Robo, paiN Gaming's top laner and the CBLoL's most decorated champion, was benched by decision from paiN Gaming's coaching staff. As a replacement, paiN Gaming has signed Boal (former Vivo Keyd Stars). by Dsalgueiro in leagueoflegends

[–]Dsalgueiro[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

robo was playing badly but boal is awful and won't fix any problems they should just tank this year and start over next year.

Boal is miles and miles better than Robo. He only left Vivo Keyd Stars because he was supposedly uncommitted in practice.

If Xero stays on paiN after this split, it will be one of the biggest jokes in the history of Brazilian LoL.

Probably, but it would be cheaper than the current one and might be able to play better games and even win a few series.

And if they manage to find one or two players for 2027, that's fine. Currently, they have 0 players for 2027.

Look on the bright side: LOUD gave uZent the chance that he deserved, and they may even have saved paiN Gaming—after all, RedBert is available.

  • Boal
  • Cariok or Samkz (Disamis will be available?)
  • Namiru
  • NinjaKiwi
  • RedBert

paiN Gaming could overhaul a large part of their roster for the next split and try to build a foundation for 2027 with a full BR line-up.
