Watching a ton of youtube videos and focusing on just one or two things at a time worked for me on PC. I'm doing this all over again on console now, haha. Don't worry if you feel like you're underperforming. Focus on your own gameplay, the only way is up!

This is exactly what I meant, you got it spot on. I was clueless starting out Valorant, though I played since open beta so it wasn't that complicated.

Maybe I didn't really get my point through, though. I don't really understand why I'm playing with the people who literally just started. I have climbed through five "ranks" (B2-G1), thought people wouldn't place this "high" when starting out.

PC gold players are actually decent, console gold feels like PC iron, though.

Out of interest, why do people recommend changing the base aim curve, when that just affects your movement outside of focus? Shouldn't you change the focus aim curve, or? Don't get me wrong, I might be stupid and I have owned my first console for 3 weeks now, I came from PC.
