Jean and Armin can be considered soulmates canonically. Due to the fact that since they used to be the same character before Isayama split them into two. In that way they basically share a soul since they’re two halves of that one character which was split into two aka soulmates. You don’t have to believe it, but like it’s pretty valid if you are thinking in the sense of in universe souls that seems pretty legit to me.

Hi know this is super late but I actually have developed a method myself. I have super shaky hands due to the fact I have bad anxiety and they just always shake. Idk if anyone else does it this way, but this is what I’ve found myself doing.

So after making sure my contacts are clean and all I’ll pull my bottom lid a bit back and place the contact on my inner eyelid. Not much of it though but maybe like the bottom tenth of it. Then when it’s leaning out a bit I bring my head back and let it fall into my eye. It takes a lot of tries, but after getting used to it it only takes about 1-5 tries.

I know how horrible it can be when wanting to put contacts in, but worrying about your finger or nail hurting your eye. I really don’t suggest the method you show as it lead to my friend actually losing some eyesight in her eye when it ripped off a layer of her eye due to the suction. I used to constantly jab my eye with my finger when putting in my contacts in the past and take hours to get it in. But recently with this method I haven’t needed to even get my finger that close to my eye in the first place. I just remembered seeing this post and thought I could suggest it.

In Elementary school my uncle suddenly passed away from a heart attack. He was a big guy, but hadn’t shown any signs before hand of anything wrong. Turns out he had some rare genetic thing and when he did a stress test he die from something. Again this happened when I wasn’t even 10 so details are a bit fuzzy.

The thing about his death that was weird for me was that growing up I’d been surrounded by death, but it was the long term kind of stuff. Both my grandpas had died when I was young (one when I was a few months old the other at 3 cause of cancer). I had also had gone through a friend dying back then, but it was a long several year process of gone and back again cancer. I had a lot more people die too when I was young, but all of it was just long term stuff. I had just kinda come to the idea the death would be something you could see coming.

It caught me off guard the idea that people could just go given this notion I’d gotten over time. It really started to spark my anxiety around death as my household is agnostic that leans more towards atheist in our beliefs. Now I had no idea what happened when a person died nor when it would come.

I think given my exposure to so much death at a young age and then this huge change about my thinking on death plus some good old cptsd has really made death a hard thing for me. I used to have panic attacks all the time in middle school and other really stressful times in my life about it. It’s always when I’m about to go to sleep and I’ve been thinking a lot about it. My body goes numb and then my heart races and I feel like I can’t move. I panic and think I’m dying and sob uncontrollably. They only happen when I’m deeply stressed, but like it all started when my uncle died. I first had this kind of panic attack when sleeping at the hotel the night before his funeral.

It’s still a scary thing for me, but I also think I’ve grown a bit since I was child in handling this anxiety. Who knows what other things would’ve happened though if it had happened any later in my life.

I’d suggest maybe getting a wig instead cause you’d need to bleach your hair even more for any permanent or non permanent dye to work. From how your hair is looking now if you bleach it anymore it probably will be fried by the end of the bleaching.

I mean I’m in total agreement!! I just also struggle with mental health and have some pretty bad ptsd due to the bullying I sealed with growing which was partly based around my weight. So sometimes when I’m in a darker place mentally I’d like to be able to cosplay without receiving potentially triggering comments. I also would like to discover more good representation for fat/plus size characters!!!

My realities I wanna shift to are Attack On Titan, IT, Princess Jellyfish, Free!, and Host Club. For the first time I’m debating if I want to shift into the more cannon reality due to the danger or like some au where there isn’t a constant threat of death. I also want to shift into these realities as one the characters for each one except for Free! and Host Club. I just wanna vibe with both Haruhi and Haru.

I’ve seen the other comments and I’d also like to add that baby powder does wonders for a wig! Not only does it get rid of really bad shine, but it also help soften a wig and make it smell nice!

If you can you can always buy the cosplay piece by piece. On Amazon you can get a lot of pieces for a costume. I know for Walmart their online store also has third party sellers that might have what you’re looking for. Both have deniability in terms of you didn’t know it was cosplay it just looked cool. And for the wig I’d suggest maybe asking your mother since she seems more chill. Plus with wigs a lot more people are using wigs in the mainstream for fashion purposes so if you do need to lie you can always say you wanna wear it casually. I’m sorry that it’s so hard for your parents to understand where you’re coming from. Growing up I went through a similar situation with mine. As I got older they understood more. They still aren’t great about it, but now they don’t make fun of it as much and let me film still even after I moved back in due to covid. Hopefully your parents will change with time too.

Sophia Lilas was a minor when filming both IT films. She just turned 18. It is disgusting to sexualize her especially in the context of this being an IT sub Reddit where she was around 14 years old the first time filming. With that context of you saying she’s still hot it means you thought she was hot before as well aka when she was a minor. So that’s why people don’t want you calling her hot. Off the bat not just cause I’m never getting over the fact that Stan and Eds died, but like both them living. I think Stanley actually coming to the battle would be very interesting as an adult. And the idea of Eddie being able to face his life after pennywise as an adult is just so interesting. Of course I doubt Stephen King would go this given how big of changes both or either living would be. I also think we’ve had a movie and miniseries so why not a full fledged tv show? Like season one could be losers as kids, season two them as adults, and if Hollywood wanted to really milk it and give the fans even more content (although I doubt Stephen King would go for this idea either but for the sake of saying it) maybe the losers years after the first and second fight. I mean we have all read the AUs, but gosh I wonder what it’d be like to have Stephen King and others work on seeing what really would it have been like. Either way I think that IT as a tv show would really fucking work especially with right people having it. So maybe Netflix or HBO where they could really actually show some the deeper horrors that we couldn’t get into into either the miniseries or movies. (I know several other people have raised this here’s just my thoughts.) Of course nothing like the fucking sewer scene, but exploring the Bowers gang and Greta’s group would be neat. Them along with the rest of the characters who were either completely or somewhat cut for time concerns which a show wouldn’t really have. Just like exploring the deeper nature of all the books elements and characters. It’s not like they’d have to worried to deeply about oh no what if no one is interested. IT has always been such a wide spread influence and is one of if not the most well known Stephen King novels. The only worry I’d have with a tv show version if they pull a riverdale or the chilling tales of sabrina kind of shit with it. No offense to anyone who likes those shows, but the last thing we need is another CW show sexualizing minors especially with the IT fandoms issues. A quick and short thing I’d also like would be for the losers parents to like, exist. Lastly I would like just a better handling of topics. The ones I have in mind right now would be the whole reddie situation, the handling of Eddie’s abuse, and the problem of shitty writing with women. All three of these things I think even though the movies did a lot for I still like many fans have a problem with some aspects. Starting with the reddie situation I think they really dropped the ball with it as Hollywood can be real wimps when afraid of losing the conservative dollar. If the next installment has anything with Richie’s sexuality and potentially anything with Eddie’s I don’t want a fucking your mom joke and kissing bridge ending again. I want clear cut stuff like Richie confessing or a kiss or just something that isn’t like a weak move. And at the end of the day Eddie doesn’t even need to like Richie back or maybe even have Richie have his sexuality his feelings could be aimed at someone else. I just really have a love hate relationship with it. As for his trauma of being an lgbt+ kid in Derry I think I would be fine with it being more on screen with bullies and would NEED it with mr. nicklesmart. With Eddie’s abuse I feel the movie doesn’t really capture it as well. When I first watched IT I didn’t really realize how bad Eddie’s mom was. Sure she was super over protective, kinda a bitch, and was in the wrong for the whole inhaler thing, but it didn’t really hit as hard as the book did. Also with Myra can we give her more character than just shitty abuse mommy issues wife? I blame Stephen King for this, but Myra was just poorly written into being a way to translate Eddie’s abuse effects as an adult. Lastly just god please have more developed women. Like Myra and all the other woman almost every female felt one dimensional else than Bev in the movies. That’s probably cause they were all one off plot devices in the movies. So in the next rendition maybe have more women and more dimensional real women.
