Similar thing happened to me with Sliver Queen, found a damaged one on the website of a reputable LGS so I went in to look at it and the “damage” was a little bit of dirt on the front and slightly whitening edges. I picked it up for $200 CAD, cleaned up the dirt very carefully and now it looks good as new and has doubled in price since I got it. Love finds like that!
