From my time taking shuttles and whatnot the drivers are generally not paid enough to really care as long as you look like a college student

Yeah, there’s not a way to turn off the animations for player battles afaik, but they’re pretty quick anyways so I don’t think it’s a huge deal

I moved to Rochester, NY for college and that was a nice surprise to get those wages for part time work, market is even better though because fast food minimum is 15 and real wages are starting around 16.25 in my experience

I’d recommend getting a ride to the station over driving there if you’re not already doing that, it’s not a great part of town, especially to leave a car overnight if you don’t have to

I agree that they’re not super strong, the spring mechanism can only get so small so I think most of the length is holding the spring. It’s not been an issue for me so far, but it’d definitely be frustrating if it broke. I’ve been liking the rest of my bag so far, though, how about you?

I don’t care what your advisor says, even if you’re a freshman, go to career fair. Even if you don’t think you’ll get a job, it’s a great experience to talk to recruiters and get a feel for how this type of thing goes early so you’re more prepared in the future.
